3 Reasons Why I publish for Illumination, Exclusively
My 60-day writing journey of publishing to Illumination

I started writing for Medium in November 2019 when I posted my first Article From Granada to Granada which got curated. I had no idea back then what curation is, but I learned along the way. After this story, I published here and there but not regularly.
Then around the end of March 2020, I started to write for the Illumination and discovered that this publication is absolutely the best fit for my stories. This is what I discovered and why I write exclusively for the Illumination.
I feel included with Illumination
With Illumination I feel included. Many who are new to writing on Medium know that getting published in big publications is getting harder and harder. Even if you get published after waiting for a week, as a new writer you will get lost among the number of articles published and its competition.
I started with Illumination when the publication was still fresh and new, and it was good that I did. I established myself as a writer for Illumination. One reason, I love publishing with them is that since the first article, the editors would publish it within one hour, I never waited longer than 2 hours. I am grateful to the editors for publishing in a timely manner. Big thank you.
Here below are my stats on an article from the Startup publication and Illumination.

The story was curated and published in one of the largest publications on Medium and this article wasn’t curated but published on Illumination.

That is the proof for new writers not to sweat or worry about curation as much. It doesn’t matter as much as you think it does. I still can’t figure it out how Medium curates the articles. It is some kind of mystery.
My articles are always promoted after publishing
I need to say a big thank you and applause to Dr Mehmet Yildiz for doing a wonderful job promoting the work of the writers. I do not think any other publication is promoting its writers to this degree. I am pleased with not only the promotion but writers’ engagement and respect for other writers.
An engaged community of writers
Also, many writers tag each other and write articles inspired by other writers. I love it. That is why we write.
To be read.
To inspire.
To be recognized by others.
Illumination is truly a community of talented writers who support each other and I will continue writing exclusively for them.
When you are a new writer on Medium, you want to be published and read.
