3-Minute Meditation Exercise
To calm busy minds

This helps you to step out of autopilot and reconnect with the present moment, besides overcoming negative thought patterns.
This exercise has three one-minute parts. Set a timer if you like.
Here’s how to do it:
Sit comfortably. Close your eyes.
- The first minute is about awareness. Ask yourself “how am I doing right now?” Acknowledge your thoughts and feelings.
- The second minute is about gathering. Focus on your breathing. Use it as an anchor to return to the present moment.
- The third minute is about expanding. Take your awareness beyond your breathing to include your body as a whole. Your posture, your expression. Feel yourself calming down.
Repeat as often as you like.
