3 Love Secrets From a 59-Year-Old Couple

I had to ask them how they did it — here are their answers.

On a sunny yet chill afternoon, I decided to go get some Ramen at one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas, and as I sat down, I notice an old couple that really intrigued me. They look old but seem young in the soul.

How can that be possible, when you see young people complaining about not wanting to get into a relationship or feeling that there is no hope after they break out of a relationship that might have served them by teaching them what needed to be changed.

I waited for the appropriate time to interrupt their dinner to ask that question, puzzling my mind.

What is the success of a long-term relationship from your perspective?

They were both surprised that a young black man ask an old Spanish couple about how their marriage lasted so long. They have been married for 59 years old and their love shines through them — Beautiful.

From the man's perspective. He said:

  1. You have to love more than trying to win arguments.
  2. Make sure the sex is a ritual for bonding — consistency is key, and it should be nurtured to keep you both young.

From the women’s perspective. She said:

3… Lots of patience and understanding.

Waaw would you have imagined that? They were both happy to have shared that with me, and let me tell you I was super pumped up to have found a gem that I could use in the design of my relationships.

I leave you in peace and love, go forth and use this piece of wisdom to make your relationship last a lifetime. Much love.
