36 Months writing on the Medium publishing platform

It is now 36 months since I first started writing stories, articles and poems here on Medium, since January 2021. It has been a thrilling and exciting experience even after all this time, writing one to three and sometimes four literary pieces every day.

Last year, 2023 was a busy year, and an emotional one, after my father and mentor passed away in June. I did write over a three thousand articles, stories and poems in 2023. I presently stand at 3,181 stories, articles, poems published on Medium. I have also published a number of comics and books on Amazon and on other publishing platforms for year.

My 10 Reasons for Writing on Medium:

  1. The monthly fee I am paying to be a member of Medium and the monthly revenue I receive after my stories are read and through my referral link.
  2. The writer friends I have made on this platform
  3. The stories I can read which are written by other great writers.
  4. A way to showcase my literary talent. A way to express my imagination and creativity.
  5. To get more readers and followers, who are interested in reading my work.
  6. To get more readers to read my published stories on Amazon and other publishing platforms. To get more visitors to visit my website.
  7. To have more Referrals through my Medium referral link.
  8. To test the topics I write about, and to know which ones are popular.
  9. To offer suggestions to other writers and to have a literary exchange that is beneficial for everyone.
  10. To be part of a dynamic publishing platform that shows potential to go further.

What are my favorite features of the Medium platform?

Medium has some of the best writers on the platform and I am happy to be part of this vibrant community. I have written a number of short stories, articles, and poems on Medium over the past 32 months. I have also read a great number of fantastic poems, articles, and stories on Medium. I enjoy writing in a number of niches, as I try to diversify my interest, which enables me to be more creative, imaginative, and productive.
