This Is How Much Money Bill Gates Could Have Made After He Short-Sold Tesla
‘It’s possible Twitter could be worse’ — Bill Gates
Let’s just say, there is no lost love between Bill Gates and Elon Musk. This year is no different, with Elon Musk accusing his fellow billionaire Bill Gates of short-selling Tesla stocks.
But it left a bitter taste in the mouth of Elon Musk especially after Gates tried to get Musk to be part of his philanthropic efforts to save Mother Earth.
Of course, with Musk, every fight becomes public and where else would he post it?
Elon Musk’s private conversation with Bill Gates somehow got leaked on Twitter.
Who knows who leaked them? Afterward, Elon Musk tweeted a meme of a pregnant man with the photo of Bill Gates, which became a trending tweet with over 1.4 million likes.
We can only speculate why Musk has a particular interest in the trans community.
While he attacked Bill Gates with a meme, using the pregnant man emoji opened up the floodgates of trans jokes on Twitter.
After his hostile takeover of Twitter, everyone is on a wait-and-see attitude as to where he is taking the social media network, and Bill Gates feels the same when he was quoted in his recent BBC interview.
“You know, Elon, I guess it’s possible Twitter could be worse. But it also could be better… So, I have a wait and see attitude.” — Bill Gates.
Key points in the interview include:
There’s no need for him to be nice to me,” Mr. Gates says referring to Elon Musk.
Asked specifically about whether he had bet against Tesla, Mr. Gates replied: “That has nothing to do with climate change. I have ways of diversifying.”
“The popularity of electric cars will lead to more competition for selling those cars. So, there’s a difference between electric cars being adopted, and companies becoming infinitely valuable.
Bill Gates doesn’t deny short-selling Tesla. His reasons are vague and said to have nothing to do with his climate change initiative which Musk vehemently disagrees with and had this to say,
“Sorry, I cannot take your philanthropy on climate change seriously when you have a massive short position against Tesla, the company doing the most to solve climate change.” — Elon Musk to Gates, a direct quote from their leaked text conversation.
Bill Gates the witch hunt
When I tweeted this in response to what I believe is ‘misinformation’ about Bill Gates, many have RT, replied, and asked the person who originally made assumptions as to where she got the information.
It is true what Bill Gates said in his interview with BBC, that he is a living target of fake news.
A favorite among conspiracy theorists. While Bill himself finds it humorous, at times it can be dangerous for him to be seen in public as he experienced being shouted at, yelled at, and called all sorts of names.
“In some ways, you almost have to laugh because it’s so crazy,” he says.
Although Bill Gates will forever have to answer questions about his relationship with convicted rapist and sex offender Jeff Epstein. The pedophile died while in prison taking with him secrets that could potentially ruin the lives of powerful men with money.
Bill’s association with Jeff Epstein has been the straw that broke the camel’s back, one of the reasons why their marriage ended up in divorce, like the blue screen of death we are all familiar with on Windows.
Did Bill Gates make money after he short-sold Tesla?
Elon Musk exposed Bill Gates’s $500 million fund he said Gates used or is using to short sell Tesla stocks, while Gates admitted to it, the amount hasn’t been verified.
Here’s the deal, the day after the Twitter sale worth $44 billion was approved by its Board, Tesla the company that made Elon Musk the richest man on earth, its stock plummeted.
And if he continues selling Tesla stocks it devalues the company and threatens its stability, the company’s fortune is tied to Musk.
Theoretically, this is how much money Gates could have made after he short-sold Tesla, if the $500 million fund is true, Bill Gates could have made 12.2% of $500 million or a cool $61 million.
Again, this is only my assumption as I have yet to find any article that could verify if Bill Gates was able to short-sell Tesla stocks a day after the Twitter sale came through.
Final words
These two tech titans will continue to lock horns in the future.
Bill Gates will always be in the news. His philanthropic activities would always be scrutinized by many, including conspiracy theorists.
Many of their fears are nothing but fears.
Bill Gates recently was revealed to be the largest individual owner of farmland. While it is true he only owns less than 1% of America’s total farmland area.
Many still believe Gates is out to microchip everyone, laughable but you will be surprised how many are convinced that Gates with deep connections in the government and tech world is part of a cabal that wants to rule the world.
I will leave you with a question, Do you think Bill Gates is good or evil?
