2 Lessons I Learned After Generating 6,124,336 Views On Quora
A place where you can experiment and understand the audience

It has been over 2 years since I have started writing questions and answers on the Quora platform.
I became active on that platform when I was invited by Quora to join their Quora Partner Program where you can earn by writing questions.
As of now, the Quora Partner Program is totally dead for me because earlier I used to make over $50 per day but currently I make pennies.
There can be three reasons behind not generating money from questions;
- Changes in Algorithm
- Major earning questions are expired (1-year )
- Not writing questions that can generate more external views.
Recently, Quora has announced various new programs that can help creators to earn money. You can learn more about it from the article mentioned below.
My content or answers have generated over 500K views and questions have generated over 4million + views. The reason behind getting far fewer views on my content is that I have recently started focusing more on writing better short-form content on the platform.

This is the highest amount of views I have gained for my answer. Now coming back to the main topic of this article on the lesson that I have learned by writing and observing content on Quora.
Honesty always goes viral
If you are writing content that shows your honest side or the content you are writing is related to your personal topic, for instance, sharing earnings, relationship stories, medical problems, etc.
These topics always make readers curious to read and short-form content led the viewer to read more answers on platforms like these just like Instagram.
I believe the algorithm of Quora is much smarter than the algorithm of Instagram. So focus on those questions that can relate to your viewers easily.
Here’s a perfect example;

With the help of quora’s great domain authority, it is very high that your question/answer will rank on the first page if you have written a great answer.
In addition to this, answers that generate curiosity in readers' mind also easily goes viral and gather a lot of views in a few days.

Spend some time on building the trust of your audience by providing value and once you’ve done it, it becomes really easy to redirect those viewership to other platforms.
Quora is a great platform to create a habit of writing short-form content, people nowadays like to read more these types of content rather than long-form.
