Quora is coming up with two programs that will help you to earn more for all users and it is also not invite-only.

Quora +: Subscribers to Quora+ will pay us monthly, and in exchange, they will have access to all Quora+ content. We will distribute this revenue to creators in proportion to how much each subscriber consumes their content, with more of a subscriber’s contribution going to writers and spaces that the subscriber follows.
Spaces Subscription: The second way is to create a space where people may subscribe to your content specifically. A Space can be used as a forum for expert guidance, a platform for sharing specialized information, or a location to engage communities of all sizes by combining original and shared content.

Now in my opinion Quora+ is going to be a competitor with Medium Subscription and Chegg.

According to my research, there are very few people who are looking for long-form content on Quora, most of them are for quick solutions and tips.

While Medium is for the long-form content. So in a sense, the paying strategy will be not based on the reader’s retention time.
