A side note friendship story
Yesterday, I had to play the peacemaker when I organized my son’s best friend’s birthday party.
I knew my friend was too busy running her restaurant to plan her son’s party and so she needed help. Sometimes it takes a village to raise a child
2 mothers texted me that one of the boys I invited was a bully and didn’t want their kids to come if ‘the bully’ was going to be there.
Josh, my son’s best friend texted me to remove his friend “the bully” from the invite list since he didn’t want conflict. I’m friends with “the bully’s” mom who already accepted the invitation. I organized another day for “the bully’ to play with the birthday boy. Awkward…
