Together, we will go through the CIA’s research into mindreading, time travel, and out-of-body experiences.
To introduce each concept, I’ll use quotes from the official CIA document (Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process, AAGP). I’ll include the page number so you can check it out for yourself.

The Possibilities
- Remote Viewing: Able to see objects, events, and people you shouldn’t be able to see.

- Problem Solving: Obtain information from the universe to be able to solve personal, relationship, and technical problems.
- Manifestation: Bring physical, emotional, or intellectual dreams into reality.
- Healing: Restore your body and mind through manifestation.

- Time Travel: Travel into the past and the future.

The Method
“The participant then gains access to the various levels of intuitive knowledge which the universe offers.” — CIA [AAGP, P. 6]
I’ll detail the steps of the Gateway method:
Getting Started
- Breathing: Inhale deeply, focusing on your brain, holding it to the count of 10. Exhale slowly through your mouth. Imagine the stale energy leaving your body. On the second inhale, bring energy to your upper chest. Exhale. In a total of six inhales and exhales, work your way down toward your feet.
- Distractions: Make sure you’ll not be disturbed. Type out and place all your troubles, problems, and distractions in a box.
- Affirmations: Say the First Affirmation. See the bottom of this story.
Focus 10
- Position: Sit or lie down in a comfortable position.
- Imagine: Feel yourself drifting into relaxation. You can imagine yourself sinking into the floor beneath you.
- Going Deeper: As you feel like you’re no longer drifting deeper down into the floor. You begin counting. Lie still and let yourself drift even deeper, counting each time you sink further into the floor. Continue until you reach ten.
The Return
- Normal: Count slowly in your mind from ten to one.
- Emergency: Think of any body part, try to move it.

Disclaimer: I’ve yet to try the technique. But I’ll do it every day for this month and report the results. And I’m not saying you should throw out your medication and start meditating instead.
