19 Sexy Shows for Moms to Watch
Skip the dishes and dirty laundry. It’s showtime!
I’m a night owl. I do most of my writing after my son goes to bed. It’s quiet, calm, dark and gives me the freedom to focus on the thought process and creativity without interruption. But when I’m not writing and need a break from an unsexy day of dirty dishes, laundry, cooking disasters, disorganized clutter, play dates, and bad hair, I’m binge-watching Netflix.
I discovered most of these shows over the course of the pandemic. They revolve around strong women characters, parenting, careers, relationships, friendship, and dysfunctional families. Some of the shows are sexy, some episodes include hot sex, and some characters talk about how they forgot the last time they had any sex.
The shows are either funny, dramatic, provocative, or will make you cry, wonder or scream for more. All are entertaining and addictive. The shows I selected offer a brief escape from reality and told stories that I feel mothers, daughters, and women can relate to. Oh, the guys can watch with us if they choose — but please do the dishes first and bring the popcorn. And if you offer us a foot rub or back massage, we won’t turn you down.
