Are you a niche writer and always on the hunt for new tech-related writing markets? We have found 13 different online magazines and websites in the tech industry interested in receiving pitches and manuscripts from authors like you!

Fraud Labs

Fraud Labs has a technical writing program to pay writers for articles and tutorials written about related subjects. The articles they are looking for must be directly related to their service.

Payment: $50.00 per article.

Geekflare

Geekflare is currently looking for part-time (freelance) and full-time writers. They are a tech blog focused on development, cloud computing, hosting, blogging, web security, and middleware. Because they are looking for both freelance and full-time writers, they have a detailed job posting online for what they are looking for.

Payment: Although their job posting does not talk about pay, I found it reported online between $60.00–250.00. However, that could have changed, or it might be a different structure for full-time employees if that is the route you choose to take.

GenVoice

GenVoice is a telecommunications company, and they are looking for steady writers for their blog that is willing to write 2–4 articles per month of about 2,500 words each. To apply, you will need to provide a sample of your writing, watch a video, and answer questions about the video.

Payment: $0.03–0.04 a word, which for a 2500 word article would be between $75.00–100.00.

Glimmer

Glimmer is looking for pitches about tech trends, internet culture, web history, policy, social media policies, design, accessibility, and streaming. Your pitch will include your idea, a summary of it, why it is relevant or time-worthy, who would want to read this story, and examples of sources you will use.

Payment: For stories between 500 and 2000 words, they will pay $500.00–800.00.

Hasura

Hasura is a website that provides an open-source engine giving their customers real-time GraphQL APIs on existing or new Postgres databases. They are looking for technical blog posts that are related to Hasura.

If you are interested in this type of work, you can apply to the program with a proposal or a topic. If you are accepted into the technical writing program, an editor will reach out to you with further details and help refine your pitch, outline, and title.

Payment: They pay $300.00 per published post.

Honeybadger

Honeybadger is looking for PHP, Ruby, or JS developers who love writing in-depth blog posts. Honeybadger is an error monitoring company that wants to help developers find and fix bugs.

Payment: $500.00 per post.
