11 Dumb Advice Unsuccessful People Give You.
Don’t set yourself up for screw-ups.
In today’s world, Knowledge is pouring from everywhere. Everyone wants to illuminate you with their words or actions, so In this scenario, the judgment of what information you should absorb and apply and with once’s to ignore becomes a difficult task.
Here, I have curated a list of the 11 most famous words of enlightenment we hear very often, but they are not as promising as they are claimed to be; in fact, some are as hollow as bamboo.
1. Slow and steady wins the race:
But what if you are running in a sprint, not a marathon, you cannot apply the same strategy for a 100m race as for a 1,500m race. We are all slaves of Time, and we have to agree that we have limited time both for any given task or life in general; a clock is always ticking.
So be quick to grab and go because not all are abiding by the slow and steady mantra. We live in a competitive world that works on a first-come, first-serve basis

2. Listen to your elders:
Especially in the Asian and African cultures, there is special importance given to the elders when even giving out your opinion is seen as rude or challenging their authority. Families often decide their kids’ futures without much say of the child itself.
- I do firmly believe in respecting your elders and being open-minded in considering or hearing the opinion of another, but blindly following their advice or not speaking for your dreams and Aspirations just because you are supposed to “listen” is a strict no. (Both bad people and good people live amongst us, you shouldn’t tolerate or love a criminal just because you are related to them)
3. Silence is the best answer to all questions:
Then what were words and actions made for? Language development is mighty, and we are Privileged to Exercise it.
So you must not speak in defamation, but you should definitely speak up in defense (yours, your peers, or whoever innocent needs it) and answer back all you haters and bullies.
4. Nothing is impossible:
Even impossible, says I-m-possible, we have all heard this before in our lives. But we must not forget that half of the motivation and self-help material is only out there to make you feel better at that moment (which is absolutely fair and fine to me, sometimes it’s needed) and give you that adrenaline rush but don’t hold much significance in the Practical life.
I can name several impossible things, and I doubt anyone can make them possible. Achieving the impossible is impossible.
5. Wanting less feels like getting more:
Keep fooling yourself. Less is less, and more is more, and this the ultimate truth. Preparing your mind for failure so that success feels sweeter or your flops don’t taste as bitter sounds like a useless and time-wasting drill.
You can rather accept things the way they are instead of playing mind games with yourself and move forward to trying even harder the next time.
6. What others think of you is not your business:
Living in a civilized and organized society, our business is what people think about us, and it’s completely in our hands that what persona do we want to build.
A poor social image impacts our future and well-being; it also leads to fewer opportunities and credibility in life.
7. Don’t compare your life to other everyone’s journey is different:
Here my question to you is how much different are we? We are all born as Homo sapiens and hold the same ultimate future; we have numerous people around us who are facing a brutal physical, mental or financial crisis and yet are being superhumans, whereas some wealthy individuals are simply wasting their life, we have to compare ourselves to everyone around us and push our boundaries accordingly.

8. Overthinking will lead to sadness:
Not thinking or thinking less will surely lead you nowhere with will untimely lead to sadness and depression. You must think and analyze all situations and their results before taking the plunge.
Assessment and dwelling give you perspective, and it only leads to better judgment and bliss.
9. Good things come to those who wait:
You have to move fast and get things done because the metropolitan culture loves speed and rush. Don’t think of yourself as some fancy wine that will take years to taste its best or your career as a big beautiful tree with will require years to fruit because it’s simply metaphorical, and you are just painting a beautiful picture of excuses. Evolution is a concept made for nature; humans are made for revolution.
10. Be yourself:
Being yourself is not bad but terrible advice one can give you there is always a better version of you waiting out there; there are certain bad habits one can give up and trying being finer, healthier, stronger, and more learned than your current self.
Self-improvement never stops, and none of us is complete or perfect. Why should you be yourself when you can be better than that.
11. Always follow your heart:
This one is the worst. One day some person stood up and Said my heart said so and made life miserable for all of us; our heart’s job is to pump oxygen, so don’t put the baggage of your irrational and stupid Decisions on your poor heart he already got important stuff like Cholesterol problems to worry about. All the healthy or Diseased conclusions that we ever made are all thanks to that muffin top.
So we must stop acting like the heart is some third person who is there to blame.
In every conversation we do or relationship we form, some exchange of ideas and suggestions will always occur, where some of them might be pure gold. Still, at the same time, you should beware of misleading and Delusional words too. Hence, Listen to everyone, but do what you want.
