The more you make yourself visible on the internet the more chances you get to be followed. You need to put your time on medium if you want unexpected results. When I started writing on Medium, I promised myself to write consistently but maintain good quality. So I kept it for 100 days and got unexpected results.

During this time, I faced a lot of ups and downs because I have a job working 8 hours a day, and writing on Medium was tough. Since October, I am part of a Medium community and I am so happy for being part of the internet’s best community.

So, it’s time to share my stats with all of you.

In October, I wrote 28 stories that got me 2,175 views and 94 followers.

In November, the number of stories decreased to 22. This time 50 stories got 3,309 views (only in November), and 45 followers.

In December, I increased the number of stories to 38 and got 3,055 views plus 85 followers.

On 31st December, I wrote the following story in which I was expecting unexpected results. And something unexpected happen to me on 1st January 2022.

From January till now (the 12th of January, the day of writing this story), I wrote 12 stories and got 7,516 views plus 76 followers.

On first January I got 1100+ views in one day. Now let’s talk about milestones.

Final Thoughts

If you want to succeed, you have to be consistent. The more you make yourself visible on the internet the more chances you get to be followed. The algorithms of all social media platforms even of the medium, all prefer “quality but quantity”.

Write as much as you can on medium, for beginners write at least 7–10 stories a week. You need to put your time on medium if you want unexpected results. Or if you don’t have much time then take 2 hours from your sleep otherwise don’t expect growth.
