Photo by Anastasiia Chepinska on Unsplash

Since the end of 2019, the coronavirus pandemic is affecting the global economy. The state of lockdown is not normal. All are thinking about when all things come back to normal again. No one can say when all this current situation ends.

I also think that it’s being enough of isolation, remote working, shut markets and business, closure of schools, etc. Enough of everything.

Unfortunately, life has put on hold. We’re isolated. I want to present some ways and tips which can work for you to feel positive and motivated in a current pandemic.

TIP 1: Productive Day Routine

I want to use the time well and feel productive and motivated. The first thing I do is plan my day. It includes work time, family time and little time for me too. It’s a great feeling when we just completing our to-do list as per the planning. It helped me to more focused and happy.

I also found minor problems to get good things out of the negative scenario. I made a community of persons in my contact who has optimism approach in life. Start finding a community of positive people around you to cultivate optimism. Avoid news to refrain from negativities of politics around you.

TIP 3: Feel Less is more

The crisis has taught me the concept of minimalism in life. I can feel happy when less is with me. There is no benefit of having so many things around you if you’re not having the joy of it.

“You say, ‘If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.’ You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled.” -Charles Spurgeon, 1834.

TIP 4: Adequate sleep

I am facing issues with quality sleep as it disturbed schedules because of these troublesome times. I try to take a 6–8hour adequate and sound sleep while making a balance to follow my routine properly and make myself fit and healthy.

TIP 5: It’s time to control being online and apply offline/outside

Since lockdown 3 begins my screen time cross over at a double rate as compared to the earlier scenario as a need for remote working, social media, Netflix series, etc.

I started preparing myself to reduce the information I consume online. Instead of spending most of our time online, I can do so many interesting things offline. Some of them are writing, cooking, going for outside walks, and runs in the park, spending time to feel the beauty of nature through gardening.

TIP 6: Find fresh ways to spend this golden time with family

Remote working has already taken most of our time in a day but still try to spare some time for family too. I had fixed time frames in a day with family as eating meals together, evening time on the balcony, taking part in home chores, playing games by making presents in each other life to stay away from anxiety. Make a habit of morning and evening prayers along with family.

Nowadays, all the family members are at home only. I divided the household work among the family as per the home chores and responsibilities are concerned and make it fun-loving by completing all activities in challenging time.

TIP 7: Stay connected using technology

It’s normal to overthink sometimes, but not always. I can understand being trapped in the aura of negativities, overthinking is normal. To come out of this situation, it’s time to see good things out of it.

Until I say stop to my overthinking or feel the goodness of it, the circumstance is not under my control.
