With 5 examples
Tip: Stretch and flesh out the title to be all that it can be with searchable keywords.
That’s it!
Below, I use some of my story titles to illustrate. As this is not meant to be a plug for my work, I am not making the titles hyperlinks.
I am including before and after examples of how fleshing out a title enhances its relevance, clickability, and searchability.
Example 1
Before: How to Make Money Online
After: 10 Tips on How to Make Money Online ($100-$1000 a month or more) Freelancing from Home
Keywords and Phrases: “Tips to Make Money”, “Tips to Make Money Online”, “How to Make Money”, “How to Make Money Online”, “Make Money Online”, “Freelancing Tips”, “Make Money from Home”, “Freelancing from Home”, “Make $100 a month”, “Make $1000 a month from Home”, etc.
As you can see, the search phrases that people could use to find your post are many, and this includes both within and outside of Medium searches.
Below, I’ll just do the before and after and let you identify the keywords and phrases yourself.
