1 Extremely Powerful Question To Be More Productive

And keep forward to achieve your goals!

Have you ever wonder why you are not that productive?

Why do so many management apps not work for you?

I got some of them and testing which one fits me better. Some just were not for me. Others were just fine. I realize that before getting these apps, we should figure out what type of person we are.

If you have known which part of your brain you frequently use: your left brain or your right brain? It’ll be a big shortcut to decide which technique you will apply in your daily routine until now I didn’t found out which part I used more often.

Now, you realize what’s wrong with so many time management and productivity theories. These tools think that “one size fits all,” and they said to try, and you’ll improve.

“Time is the scarest resource and unless it is managed nothing else can be managed” — Peter Drucker

Everyone has their own way of working and what helps one person be more productive can be counterproductive to another. For this reason, the best way to work better is after examine yourself and approach your work in a fashion that fits your personality. Everyone is different.

Which Productive Style Fit You The Most

“It’s not enough to be busy….The question is what are we busy about?” — Henry David Thoreau

The productive style assessment explains how people work, as Ned Hermann, author of the book “The Creative Brain,” explains in his study how the brain perceives, processes, comprehends, management, and communicates information. While there are different personalities, Hermann’s model offers four particular styles. Which style are you?

  • The prioritizer. You’re efficient with the time and uses data, analysis, and logic to approach and solve problems. You always prioritize, and no one can interrupt while there’s work to be done.
  • The planner. You love making lists, organizing data, and doing things in a particular order. A calendar is a tool that has to be close to you.
  • The Arranger. You’re more easygoing and rely on your instinct to make decisions. When you work well with others and enjoy presenting information visually, you are in this model. This question is always in your mind “How will this decision make people feel?
  • The Visualizer. You can walk into a heated discussion and find a way to reorganize all the key points that solve everyone’s problems. When decisions had to be made, you hate being dragged down by data. You will better listen to everyone and create something new, even if it’s different from the way it’s always been done.

The Attitude: The Most Important Part

“The key is not to prioritize what’s on your schedule, but to schedule your priorities” — Stephen Covey

Let’s be honest; neither the best technique will work if you are not on the right path, with the right mindset to start to take action to achieve your goals.

We all have good and bad days, all of us sometimes you just don’t feel you can do it, or sometimes you just don’t have ideas. It happens sometimes. Somedays after wake up, I feel illuminated and start to write things that really matter in life, and sometimes just I don’t want to write even one sentence.

Don’t believe you always will have the energy and strength to do the job. Instead, we can be aware of it and do something to switch the mood and keep showing up.

There is a question that can help you to get things done faster, no matter what technique you decide to work.

It’s no matter of strength, energy, or mood. It’s a matter of attitude.

Image yourself in this situation:

You go to the doctor, a regular check and a blood test. The doctor finds out that you have a terrible disease; you don’t know what to do. Then sadly, the doctor says that you will live only two months more. That’s all. After that, when you are coming home, killing yourself with your thoughts, your phone starts to ring. The doctor is calling you, and he said: there is something that you can do about to stop the disease. You can’t believe it.

He said you need to take two hours of therapy every single day to stop the disease.

Will you find out how to manage your time finding those hours? Of course, you will. Right?

“It’s not a matter of time, It's a matter of Priority”

We always find time if something is a priority for us. It’s how it works.

Finally, ask yourself these :

Which are your priorities? Do you need to do this now? Are you ready to do it, even if you don’t feel inspired? And favor yourself, don’t lier giving excuses for everything. Remember, six months of hard work and focus can put you five years ahead in life.

Think about it.
