蘋果Tim Cook力挺保障個人私隱
第 40 屆數據保護和隱私專員國際會議（ICDPPC）現正比利時布魯塞爾歐盟總部召開。蘋果CEO庫克今日在該會議上發表主題演講，表示科技行業必須尊重隱私，才能獲得公眾信任，否則將失去重塑世界的機會。
「我們對技術的巨大潛力持樂觀態度，但我們知道這種潛能不會自動產生。如果沒有用戶的充分信任和信心，我們將永遠無法實現技術的真正潛力。」庫克表示。
庫克還將對歐洲推行的《通用數據保護條例》（General Data Protection Regulation，GDPR）發表看法，認為這是「良好的政策和政治意願可以共同保護所有人權利」的一項證據。
