Hindi and English Poem on Ram

राम के रंग में दुनिया को रंगते हुए देखा उस गेरुए रंग को फिर से बरसते हुए देखा। मन में राम, रंग में राम, जहां देखा वहाँ राम राम। क्या है राम? क्यों है राम? उन कहनियो को फिर से उभरते देखा। उस बचपन को भी देखा जो दहशत में गुज़रा उन आँखों को देखा जिन्होंने राम नाम को जिया।

राम के रंग में दुनिया को रंगते हुए देखा उस अयोध्या को फिर से बनते हुए देखा। अंधेरे में एक दिव्य प्रकाश के तरह राम को फिर से उतरते हुए देखा। सरयू के घाट को फिर से सजते हुए देखा। जनवरी के महीने में दिवाली बनते हुए देखा। मन में राम, रंग में राम। जहां देखो वहाँ राम राम।

राम के रंग में दुनिया को रंगते हुए देखा। ख़ुद को फिर से राममय होते देखा।

I saw the world getting drenched in the colours of Ram. That saffron colour I saw it again awashing my country. In my mind — Ram, In the colours — Ram Where ever I see it’s just Ram. Who is Ram? Why Ram? I saw those stories happening again. I saw that part of childhood which still scares me. I saw those eyes who lived the dream of Ram name.

I saw the world getting drenched in the colours of Ram. That Ayodhaya I saw it getting adorned again. In the darkness like that divine light I saw Ram descending from the sky. I saw the banks of the river Saryu adorned with flowers. In the month of January I saw the celebration of Diwali. In my mind — Ram, In the colours — Ram Whereever I see it’s sust Ram.

I saw the world getting drenched in the colours of Ram. I could see myself being pulled towards that chasm called Ram.

Inspired from the recent happenings in my homeland India. Each day I hear a new song and the colours of celebration I can see that everywhere.
