Summary

ZetaHub is an application by ZetaChain that allows users to earn XP (experience points) by interacting with the ZetaChain ecosystem, with the potential for future airdrops, and users must acquire Zeta tokens to participate.

Abstract

ZetaChain aims to create a public blockchain that enables seamless cross-blockchain interactions. While the initial airdrop has concluded, users can still engage with ZetaChain's ZetaHub app to earn XP, which may be beneficial for future airdrops. To start earning XP, users must first acquire Zeta tokens from supported exchanges like OKX, Bitget, or ZetaSwap, and then follow a series of steps to onboard to ZetaHub with their wallet. These steps include clicking on an invite link, obtaining Zeta tokens, adding the ZetaChain network to their wallet, and transferring Zeta to their wallet. Once onboard, users can claim an initial 1000 XP and continue to accumulate more by completing tasks. ZetaSwap, a decentralized application within the ZetaChain ecosystem, allows for token swaps, including converting Zeta to other cryptocurrencies like ETH. The article emphasizes the importance of proceeding with caution due to potential issues with the apps and concludes with a disclaimer stating that the information provided is for educational and entertainment purposes only and not financial advice.

Opinions

  • The author suggests that there is a potential for future airdrops from ZetaChain, indicating optimism about the project's ongoing development.
  • The need to possess a minimum amount of Zeta tokens to interact with ZetaHub and the mention of specific exchanges where these tokens can be acquired imply a current limitation in the token's availability.
  • The author points out technical issues, such as the Zeta balance not showing in the app, advising users to proceed with caution when using ZetaChain's dApps.
  • By providing a referral link for Bitget, the author seems to endorse this exchange as a preferred method for acquiring Zeta tokens.
  • The inclusion of detailed instructions for adding ZetaChain to MetaMask and transferring Zeta tokens suggests a recognition of the complexity involved for new users and the need for guidance.
  • The disclaimer at the end of the article reiterates the educational intent of the content and distances the author from providing financial advice, emphasizing the importance of personal research.

ZetaHub — Claim XP and potential future AirDrop from ZetaChain

What is ZetaChain?

Blockchain is naturally a closed system, meaning it only operates within its ecosystem. For example, Bitcoin has its own blockchain, as does Ethereum, Avalanche, Solana, Binance Smart Chain, etc. You can bridge between two blockchains using bridging apps, but often these apps still work with their native layers. Now, ZetaChain is trying to bring about a public blockchain where you, as a user, can cross between various blockchains with ease. This is the aim of ZetaChain, and they are actively engaged in their development work to achieve that goal.

Potential AirDrop (future)

The initial airdrop for ZetaChain has been completed. While there are currently no announcements regarding future airdrops, the possibility exists. Nevertheless, you can begin earning XP or points by interacting with ZetaChain through the ZetaHub app.

XP with ZetaHub

To interact with ZetaHub and earning XP, you first need to have Zeta, the official token under ZetaChain.

Step 1: To start you journey with ZetaHub, click on the invite link below:

<<< Get ZetaHub XP >>>

Step 2: Get some Zeta token.

You can get the Zeta token from the listed exchanges (CEX) or DEX.

Please note that to interact with ZetaHub, you must possess some Zeta on the ZetaChain blockchain. Therefore, your options are limited to:

  • OKX, Bitget, ZetaSwap

If you are purchasing Zeta from exchange like Bitget, you need to have minimum 100 Zeta (about 142 USD) for you to withdraw to MetaMask or you can opt for Bitget Wallet. If you don't have a Bitget account, you can register using my referral link here.

Step 3: Get or Send Zeta to wallet i.e MetaMask, Token Pocket, Bitget Wallet etc.

Get or send your Zeta to your wallet. If you are using MetaMask, you need to add Zeta Network into MetaMask. Follow the instruction below.

  1. Goto Chainlist.org
  2. Search for Zeta.

3. Add Zeta to MetaMask.

4. Transfer out your Zeta (if using exchange) to wallet. Once the transfer is completed, you can start earning XP by completing the ZetaHub tasks.

Step 3: On-boarding to ZetaHub with your wallet.

Claim your first 1000 XP by on-boarding to the ZetaHub.

The process of onboarding could take some time due to high network traffic. You will receive your XP once the onboarding process is completed.

Step 4: Continue to perform other tasks to accumulate more XP points.

About ZetaSwap

ZetaSwap is a Dapps within the ZetaChain ecosystem where you can swap other tokens like ETH, BSC, BTC to Zeta or vice versa.

Let’s assume that you need to swap some Zeta to ETH. In ZetaChain, ETH is denoted as ETH.ETH. To swap, simply connect with your wallet and make sure you are using the ZetaChain network.

I do find a couple of issues with the apps, like my Zeta balance not showing, and as such, if you wish to continue with the dApps, proceed with cautions.
