Zen 115
A Haiku Series

Roses are not red,
and are violets really blue?
Hue is rarely true.
This is a series.
This is submitted by permission from my Zen Master son. One of his early elementary school art work pieces in which I recognized the Zen Master within him.
He was an elementary school child, and at his age, violets sounds like two syllables.
This water color and haiku panel were a gift, and are among my most treasured possessions.
