Having 14 YouTube channels, admittedly I “forgot” to mention this free HD music video strategy with YouTube. I even neglected my YouTube channel. But I got busy on Medium, my bad.
The YouTube channel title used to be “TikTok Online Money Makers”, which focuses on music videos! Now shifting all my efforts to Medium, it is now renamed to, “Music Video Money Makers”.
I have even gone so far now, to change the entire original strategy. Still sticking to music videos, but instead of affiliate offers. These video description links will now be Medium stories and my Medium profile.
Testing, testing, testing, failing, failing, failing. You know how it goes. Going back in time to the early 14th century, during my DJ days. I discovered a way to create rather surprisingly good music videos and music mixes.
Once you’ve been down that DJ road, the music stays in you. It’s a little weird to explain. I think the DJ spirit is definitely immortal! I have my moments and still love karaoke too.
I grew quite fond of the microphone back then. Who would have thought that one day that experience would come in handy to create YouTube music videos? And here we are…
Old habits do die hard, I guess. Although the “beat mixes” took some time, Canva isn’t exactly a “mixing desk”. But I did what I could with what I had, and it came out not too bad, considering I had no mixing desk.
You really can create these videos by just working through the audio clips, and finding the ones where the beats correspond. Then just play around, mixing and matching different audio files and video clips inside Canva.
YouTube Music Video Content Marketing Strategy With Medium!
These kinds of music videos, as included in this medium story are fairly easy to create with Canva. All the video clips, audio files, and editing options are available completely free.
Simply go to Canva, then “videos”, and then select “YouTube Videos”. A blank template will open, and you will have all the tools you need to create your free music video in the left-hand-side menu.
If you have your own music, then you can even upload that to Canva and use it, or if you have your own video clips. The options are endless! But I am including the example videos, so you can get an idea.
It is up to you to explore Canva and get to know your way around using all the tools. And there are many. From setting audio file volume to snipping video clips. You need no other tool, just Canva.

As I have structured everything around Medium, you don’t have to, just saying. It is just a strategy I am testing to see if my medium profile and story views increase.
But you can redirect to any URL in your video description.
Like Medium, YouTube also allows affiliate links in video descriptions. But do use cloaking strategies to make any long affiliate URL look more “attractive”.
Basically, with this content marketing strategy. I want to rank these YouTube videos for search phrases like “YouTube music videos”, and “music videos” for instance.
These keywords and search phrases are searched a couple hundred thousand times per month. But it is a new strategy (slightly changed from the original) I decided to test. The original however works just fine.
The aim is to rank for music videos, with my Medium profile as the link in the video description (I'm still contemplating, my profile, Medium stories, or a combination?). What do you think?
When these videos start ranking, that means high-quality traffic to my Medium stories and profile from Google and YouTube.
Only this time, it is not a Google video ads strategy, but purely YouTube video SEO. The strategy did work for traffic to affiliate links, so, I have no reason to believe it will not work for driving traffic to Medium.

However, creating these music videos and ranking them on YouTube is the easy part. Your video needs constant engagement to feed the YouTube algorithm. It is also important that your videos show up in the “up next” list!

I am discovering “new tools” on Canva every day. I have recently discovered how to set different volume levels for different audio files. See, when you create a music mix, you use several songs rolled into one. Some songs have an overpowering base over others.
Therefore, you might want to turn the volume down a bit on these songs. Once your YouTube music video is created, listen through it thoroughly on Canva before downloading the MP4 file.

Edit your audio and video clips so everything synchronizes, otherwise, your video might be kind of like the translated movies. Where the mouths are moving but do not correspond with the words.
Synchronizing your audio and video clips might take some time, but it is well worth it. Besides, if you love music as I do, this will be more fun than anything else.
Simply drag and edit the video and audio clips inside Canva to create these free YouTube music videos. Perfectly safe to upload to YouTube with zero copyright strikes.
You will however have to link your YouTube channel with Canva design, so they can take care of the copyright legalities with YouTube. That way you can upload the music video without any copyright strikes.
Kindly excuse some of the other “beginner” music videos created and uploaded to the channel, in the event you decide to go there. I have a lot more “direction” this time around…lol!
But I keep these “old videos” just like all the “old content” I have created. That way I will never forget where I came from, and I will also remember what did not work.

Just keep playing around with all the tools before you know it. You will be creating your own music videos. Just as colours can, music too can create a certain mood.
In my opinion, an exciting beat might make for a curious video viewer. Music is a means of taking people's places, bringing back memories, and in that creating a lasting impression.
