You’re Not Late; You’re On A Fantastic Voyage
Slay the Competition

America is promoted as the land of opportunity. Lace up your bootstraps, hike up your pants, and hustle hustle hustle to make it to the top.
Are you even serious if you’re not slaving away sixty or more hours at your main gig and dedicating another twenty to thirty hours at your side gig?
The noise of success can be overwhelming and stifle productivity. You may end up feeling like a loser if you haven’t bought a home, married your soulmate, and are toiling away at your dream job by the time you’re 30.
You’re in the land of opportunity, after all. If you’re not near the top of the pyramid of success, then you must have done something wrong. It’s all your fault.
Before you go slumping away, hanging your head in shame, ask yourself what success looks like.
Only you can define what your success should entail.
Others have not experienced what you have. They haven’t faced your challenges. They don’t know what afflictions or limitations you may have.
It’s easy to judge from the outside looking in. Outsiders don’t have all the information to judge. Even those that are closest to you don’t always have the full story.
No one knows your story but you, so don’t let anyone make you feel bad about who you are, how far you’ve come, and where you are in life.
That’s not to say that you shouldn’t push out of your comfort zone and pursue opportunities. Of course, you should not let limiting thoughts and limiting beliefs hold you back.
Positive reinforcement can definitely drive you to overcome difficulties. The most successful people are not focused on the accomplishments of those around them. They don’t waste energy trying to compete against others.
The most successful compete against themselves and crush their personal best records.
They push themselves to do more, be more, not to keep up with the competition. They push to exceed their own standards and expectations.
Seek out whatever sparks your innate motivation. Level up on your own timeline and elevate your standards.
Circumstances in life can cause plans, goals, and agendas to change. No matter where you are in your quest for success, make sure it’s your pursuit.
