You’re an anti-Semite if you….

Take the double standard demolition derby test and fail because:

You practice selective outrage by protesting for Palestinians while:

• Ignoring Muslim on Muslim mass murder in Syria by the Assad family business with a flag, Sudan (Darfur), Yemen, Kurdistan, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, the former Spanish Sahara by Morocco.
• Ignoring the murders and/or repression of: Muslim Uighurs in China, the Rohingya in Burma, Chechens and Dagestanis by Russia,
• Ignoring the genocidal massacres of Yazidis by ISIS, the terrorism against Coptic Christians in Egypt.
• Ignoring the decade-long murderous Islamist FIS insurgency in Algeria.

Crying “Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea” and for the “right of return” for Palestinians but not for/of:

• East Prussian and Silesian Germans to Lithuania and Poland.
• The Sudeten Germans to the Czech Republic.

• The Baltic Germans to Latvia. Jugenstil Riga is a German city hit by demographic neutron bombs in 1914 and 1945. The Germans property is there, but not the Germans.
• The looted and expropriated property of the 800000+ Jews from Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen.
• The Greeks and Armenians of Turkey.

• Ethnic Italians to Fiume (Rijeka) and Ragusa (Dubrovnik). The first client in my photography and brochure business in 1992 was named Scopinich, ethnic Italian immigrant boatbuilders to Long Island, NY from the future former Yugoslav island of Lussinpiccolo. “Future former Yugoslavia” because they came in 1905, before Yugoslavia existed, and became my clients in 1992, after Yugoslavia dissolved in 1991. If you think Palestinians have a right of return, then invoke it for Croatian and Slovenian Italians. If not, you fail the double standard demolition test.

Protesting against Israeli war crimes while ignoring:

• Russian war crimes in Ukraine, Abkhazia (1993–94), Georgia (2008) and Chechnya (1994–96, 1999–2000).
• Indian crimes in Kashmir since 1989 (I was in empty Srinagar in June 1989 when this one was starting).
• Hizbullah targeting of Israeli civilians, forcing the evacuation of 70000.
• Saudi war crimes bombing and starving civilians in Yemen.
• Turkish crimes in Kurdistan.
• Hamas shooting Gazan civilians escaping south (min. 4:49).

Proclaiming the Palestinian right to self-determination while:

• Denying that Jews are a nation as well as a religion and call Israel a “cosplay nation” subject to DNA tests applied to no other nation.
• Denying to Jews the right to define their identity while granting it to other peoples.
• Calling Israel a “white, colonial settler state”, which erases the black Jews from Ethiopia and Yemen. You ignore that 65% of Israelis are Sephardic Jews who are no whiter than the Arabs of the states they were ethnically cleansed and expropriated from.

“A slight but solid majority of Europeans — 54% — said Israel has the right to exist as a Jewish state, with the figure rising to two-thirds in Poland.”

We can assume that 100% of the French, German, Italian, Polish and other European states’ respondents granted their own nationalities the right to sovereignty that 46% of respondents didn’t grant to Jews in Israel. That 46% can be fairly identified by default as antisemitic by failing the sovereignty equality test, a subset of the double standard demolition derby test.

Thank God for small favors. Only nearly half of Europeans wish to exclude Israel from the nationhood club, echoing what we’d thought was the bygone era of restricted hotels and clubs with “no dogs, no Jews” signs. Next time we’re on the Cote d’Azur or the Costa Brava maybe I should repeat Groucho Marx’s question to a restricted country club: I’m Jewish, but my wife isn’t. Can we go in the water together up to our knees?

The double standard in charging genocide

If you accuse Israel of genocide while ignoring:

• Hamas genocidal charter.
• That the Secretary General of the Arab League promised a “war of extermination” against mandatory Palestine’s Jews.
• Palestinian and other imams’ Friday sermons invoking extermination of the Jews:

“At Islamic Center in Davis this July, Imam Ammar Shahin delivered two sermons, one of which (translated into English by the Middle East Research Institute MEMRI) reads: “Oh, Allah, liberate the Al-Aqsa mosque from the filth of the Jews. . . . Oh, Allah, count them one by one and annihilate them down to the very last one. . . . Oh Allah, make this happen by our hands. Let us play a part in this. Oh Allah, let us support them in words and in deeds.”

Tell Israeli Jews to live in a binational secular, democratic Palestine while:

• Ignoring there is not a single secular state in the Arab world.
• Ignoring that there’s not a single democratic state in the Arab world.
• Ignoring that secular governance is inconceivable in Islam, with its definition of the state as the “umma”, or community of believers.
• Ignoring Hamas’ openly proclaimed Islamic supremacy:
• Ignoring 1300+ years of Islam’s Koranically codified regime of Jim Crow-type Dar-al-Dhimmi subordination and terror, with extortionate jizya poll taxes and periodic pogroms.

Go to pro-Palestine demos where you listen to slogans and see with no objection signs like:

• “Fuck the Jews, rape their daughters”, as in the Jewish neighborhood of Golders Green, London in 2021.
• The eliminationist “Palestine will be free, from the river to the sea” while those holding that sign at one demo were unable to name the river in question.
• And fail to ask Palestinians at those demos what they mean by “occupation”, “free Palestine, from the river to the sea.”
• And that now famous Sydney Opera House aria, “gas the Jews”.
• “Keep the world clean” Judenrein banners with the Star of David” pictured trashed.

Don’t notice the multiple dogs that didn’t bark on the Jewish side:

• No mosques have been bombed or assaulted by Jews while pro-Palestine demonstrators shout “every synagogue is an Israeli embassy”.
• No buses, cafes or pizzerias full of Muslims anywhere have been blown up by Jewish terrorists while Muslim anti-Jewish violence went global.
• Muslims in Buenos Aires, Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Nice, NY, London, Toronto, Ottawa, Berlin, Halle, Pittsburgh, Poway do not live in fear of Jews assaulting, shooting or blowing them up.

Role-reversed counterfactuals point to a shape-shifting virus

Perhaps a feigned Jewish apology for passing out candy for celebrating the murders of Muslims on buses, in cafes and in hotels that never happened might enable a small glimmer of reflection. Here’s why I doubt it:

Jew hatred is an ancient and endlessly versatile virus and worldview of hidden conspiratorial power that adapts and reconfigures itself to fit the resentments of the people attracted to it and the emotional rewards they self-medicate with it. In theocratic regimes we were hated for our religion. In racist regimes we were hated for our race, despite the existence of Jews of all races.

In Eastern Europe we were hated for our poverty. In Western Europe and America we were hated for our wealth — in a kind of financialized blood libel Henry Ford popularized in the Dearborn Independent and The International Jew, which made him a Nazi hero.

“Adolf Hitler wrote, “only a single great man, Ford, [who], to [the Jews’] fury, still maintains full independence … [from] the controlling masters of the producers in a nation of one hundred and twenty millions.” Speaking in 1931 to a Detroit News reporter, Hitler said “I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration,” explaining his reason for keeping a life-size portrait of Ford behind his desk.[84][79] Steven Watts wrote that Hitler “revered” Ford, proclaiming that “I shall do my best to put his theories into practice in Germany”, and modeling the Volkswagen Beetle, the people’s car, on the Model T….Ford also paid to print and distribute 500,000 copies of the antisemitic fabricated text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Historians say Hitler distributed Ford’s books and articles throughout Germany, stoking the hatred that helped fuel the Holocaust.”

Everywhere we were both bankers and Bolsheviks, blood-sucking rabbis with earlocks and carriers of secular modernist cultural decadence and atheism. We are the universal “other” to be blamed for whatever’s in the mirror you wish to ignore and refuse to take responsibility for.

We are the weak enemy whose abuse compensates for your fear of confronting much more powerful enemies: corporate plutocrats, the real string-pulling fascist financiers, industrialists and landowners and generals (Krupp, Thyssen, IG Farben, Ford, ITT, Neville Chamberlain’s Imperial Chemical Company, Bank of England Governor Montagu Norman) who supported Hitler, Mussolini, Pinochet, Franco and Salazar.

That’s why German socialists August Bebel and Ferdinand Kronawetter called anti-semitism “the socialism of fools”. The question is when you’re going to smarten up instead of indulging in this typical example, even in that cradle of enlightenment, Scotland:

The controversy over Sir Gerald Kaufman MP’s (Labour) remarks about “Jewish money” and the Conservative Party has helped mask a simultaneous case with Sandra White (Scottish National Party), who is a Member of the Scottish Parliament, rather than the UK Parliament. White posted an obscenely antisemitic retweet “in error” on Twitter, before it was removed three days later. She has over 6,500 followers, but seems not to have flagged the removal to them. She is one of the Scottish Parliament’s most enthusiastic promoters of pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel activism. As with Kaufman, White’s offence had Jewish money power at its core. As with Kaufman, the party leadership distanced itself, but never actually called the discourse antisemitic. As with Kaufman, the party leadership’s response was formulaic and inadequate. As with Kaufman, none of this will help calm Jewish fears about responses to antisemitism, especially within anti-Israel contexts. Both cases are strong illustrations of contemporary antisemitism and the formulaic responses that are all too often made by political parties. They both occur in the context of pro-Palestinian activism, conducted and overseen by those who self-define as being utterly opposed to antisemitism….”

Can you spot the difference between the image above and this Nazi one:

That Kaufman and White aren’t viciously genocidal Nazis is obvious….and beside the point. Their worldview of a hidden conspiracy of Jewish power and money is the same as Hitler’s, Ford’s and the Tsarist Protocols’ forgers.

These paranoid delusions of Jewish power, ubiquity and influence substantially identical to the Nazi image above persist among today’s survey respondents, 60–70% of whom have NEVER met a Jew:

In Poland and Hungary, about 4 in 10 people said Jews have too much influence in business and finance around the world.

Roughly one out of three people there said Jews were too influential in political affairs around the world, and more than a quarter of Poles and Hungarians said they had too much influence on the media.

A third of Austrians said Jews have too much influence in finance, while a quarter of French and German respondents said so.

About one in five people in all three countries said Jews had too much influence in media, and a quarter said they had too much influence on wars and conflicts.

Paranoia about hidden Jewish power correlates with wild overestimates of how many Jews exist. Vast majorities overestimate Jewish population by up to a factor of 100x, though most have never met a Jew:

About two-thirds of the respondents in the survey guessed too high when asked what percentage of the world is Jewish, and similar numbers got the answer wrong for their own countries.

A quarter of Hungarians estimated that the world is more than 20% Jewish, and a fifth of British and Polish respondents said so.

They were off by a factor of 100. About 0.2% of the world’s population is Jewish, according to the Pew Research Center’s Global Religious Landscape study.

Four out of ten respondents in the survey thought their own countries were between 3% and 10% Jewish. In fact, Israel is the only country in the world where more than 2% of the population is Jewish. The overestimates came even as majorities or near-majorities in every country CNN polled said they were not aware of ever having met a Jewish person. Two-thirds of Germans, Austrians and Poles said they didn’t think they had ever socialized with a Jew, while about half of people in Britain, France, Hungary and Sweden said the same.

These wild overestimates of Jewish population correlate with paranoid exaggerations and fear of hidden Jewish power. This ignorance is no surprise given that “a third of Europeans in the poll said they knew just a little or nothing at all about the Holocaust.”

And that:

One in five said they have too much influence in the media and the same number believe they have too much influence in politics.

From Influence Paranoia to the Blame the Victim Game

In 2018 PhD thesis Holocaust-denier* P.A. president, Mahmoud Abbas, the David Irving of Middle East geopolitics, echoed this, blaming Jews for their own persecution:

“”They say hatred against Jews was not because of their religion, it was because of their social profession. So the Jewish issue that had spread against the Jews across Europe was not because of their religion, it was because of usury and banks.”

Nearly one in five Europeans agree with Abbas:

“And nearly one in five (18%) said anti-Semitism in their countries was a response to the everyday behavior of Jewish people.

Protestors for Palestine have demanded of Israel standards of conduct, and demanded for Palestinians rights not applied to all the other ethnic conflict and right of return cases listed above. They’ve thus joined a global disinformation pogrom whose script was written by Tsarist Protocols forgers, Hitler, Henry Ford long before they entered the scene. It’s just one more rerun of history’s longest running and most globally distributed hate movie.

Long after this war is over this mass failure in the double standard demolition test will have irretrievably shattered European and American Jews’ trust that their gentile compatriots view us as equal citizens. This will be so until gentiles accept a simple concept: if Jews in Israel aren’t judged by the same standards and granted the same sovereignty rights as other nations, then Jews outside Israel will know they’re second class citizens.
