You’re Addicted To Hurting People

Poetry

Photo by Marcos Paulo Prado on Unsplash

I get moments of relief Only to come back to that one place Disbelief

You’ve changed my life for the worst It’s like you’ve placed on me a curse

This cycle is something you keep repeating You rehearse and rehearse

Everything around you gets destroyed Or worse

You’re addicted to hurting people Everyone’s pain to you is invisible

Now you see it Maybe you don’t It’s hard to believe The boy who always cries wolf

Trying to look past Everything in your life that didn’t last All the good You turned into bad You would make a poor man Go insane, and go mad Because you burn your riches You’re never grateful And that’s your religion

Jade Willow.
