You’re a flawless flower

You are a daffodil rising thru the concrete of life.

You are a rose whose thorns prick those unworthy of your embrace.

You are the most gorgeous hydrangea blooming & blossoming in the Spring.

You are the darling daisy wholesome, sacred, new.

Even when you wilt, you’ve been beauty and perfection since birth.

To say it briefly, you’re the salt of the Earth.

I think about that flower a lot when I’m going through tough times.
