Your Subconscious Is YOUR Blueprint
“The closer you come to knowing that you alone create the world of your experience, the more vital it becomes for you to discover just who is doing the creating.”― Eric Micha’el Leventhal

Many adults on this planet operate from their childhood programming. Childhood is very prominent from ages zero to around seven years of age. During ages zero to seven, the mind is in subconscious mode which is a crucial time to mold a child what parents want them to be and into the environment they are exposed to. Then, the conscious mind forms and takes orders from the subconscious mind.
According to HealYourLife (2010) at Hay House, Dr. Lipton mentions that the child’s brain takes in sensory information from its surroundings and information gets downloaded into the child’s brain about how life works. During this time, programming that parents and the surrounding environment input in the child’s brain directly or indirectly gets absorbed into the subconscious.
Unfortunately, children have no control of what is being imprinted into their subconscious. Parents do the best they can with what they have from the programming of their foundational years. For example, some parents are emotionally immature to the point that they use their kids as emotional tissues and that gets absorbed into the child’s brain as being a people pleaser with no boundaries. Depending on what the child is exposed to, the result can have a reciprocal effect. Parents don’t realize how much of an impact this has. The power is underestimated.
As children grow into adults, they live under the programming of their subconscious since they were children. Positive habits such as money management and assertiveness imprinted during childhood has a higher chance of success in the matters of career and status.
Negative programming such as having narcissistic parents or abusive parents (who are not narcissistic) results in situations that are chaotic and often a repetition of childhood traumas. Traumatic events such as sexual assault, bullying, constant rejection, and parental abandonment or neglect as children has a much greater affect on the brain and affects adulthood to the point where the individual can live life on autopilot and not realize why things are not flowing but are in a tooth pulling force.
All of us are programmed at birth by our caretakers and immediate surroundings. This is a powerful reality that affects a person for a lifetime.
Now, the question is what do we do with this information and how do we began to reprogramming of our subconscious? As adults, we carry the burdens such as traumatic experiences and toxic parents or guardians. How do we rewrite our own story?
Life gives us a gift of healing and changing the narrative, meaning you do not have to keep repeating the same ole’ story. Often, one here's “do the work” meaning doing the healing work to heal from your childhood with various tools. Inner child healing, Emotional Freedom Tapping, and therapy are just a few of those tools to rewire the neurons in the brain.
Our subconscious is the road map that our body and brain follows in regards to relationships, money, career, and navigation of life. Often times, most of us are not aware of this. We go through toxic relationships after relationship not understanding why it keeps happening. We self-harm as a way to sooth and protect ourselves from ourselves and not know why. We are living under earthly curses and not understand where that root is coming from. The answer is that our subconscious is just a road map that your childhood programming has given you.
We can reject that and REPROGRAM our minds to live authentic, much healthier lives so that toxicity does not have room in our lives. Its just not easy. Its much easier to ignore the issue and keep living the existence you are living.
Here are a THREE steps or things that you can do in order to reprogram your mind:
- Change Your Self Image
- Harris (2017) from 12 Laws of Success brought up the fact that Universal Law of Thoughts says that your thoughts create your reality. In order to change your thoughts, change your self-image by healing the root of your trauma and having compassion for yourself and others.
2. Address old beliefs, traumas, and patterns of habit that does not serve you in your life.
- Use journaling, hypnosis, past life regression, support groups, counseling, trauma-based therapy, and other modalities to address your past traumas and you will create an authentic individual who wholesomely embraces life instead of fighting and being traumatized.
3. Cut off unhealthy, toxic family relationships, romantic or friendships. You may notice that your patterns of interaction is unhealthy such as obsession that you have to cut off others because of what you are doing to them or what you are going to do to them is not a healthy way of relation. Self-accountability is required. To fully embrace the power of change, actively perform this step to have the peaceful life that you deserve. The modern cliché “A group of birds flock together” is a over-estimated and powerful sentiment. One can use the energy of others to create the desired, healthier lifestyle.
- Harris (2017) states that the Universal Law of Change allows you to renew your mind with new philosophies, goals, associations, and daily routine experiences. Imprinting your mind constantly with new way of living puts you in a position to upgrade your life.
The subconscious mind is what our life is based on. Change your story by reprogramming your subconscious mind. The subconscious represents the feminine while your conscious represents the logical, masculine part of ourselves. Create the balance in your life by obeying and honoring the feminine or it will create chaos.
