Self-Leadership Goes Beyond Business

Many of you are probably familiar with the old saying, “Man proposes and god disposes.” This phrase is commonly used when referring to the idea of destiny; we often believe that what will happen in our lives has already been decided or that our actions have no effect on the outcome. But who says it’s just for men?

I’m here to say this way of thinking is wrong. I am here to say that it is up to you to take responsibility for your destiny.

Just like you can’t completely control what happens in the stock market, you can’t control the results of certain events in your life either. But that doesn’t mean those events are out of your control. You can put yourself in a position where those events won’t have as negative an effect on you or your family.

As I write this you are probably wrestling with some kind of issue in your life. You may be facing a decision about what to do with your life. Maybe you’re thinking about starting a business, but you’re not sure if it’s the right time. Someone may be pressuring you to go back to school or you’re considering a job change. Maybe there’s a conflict with your children or a problem at home that has become too big to handle on your own.

Whatever the issue, I want to tell you that if you are struggling with an important personal decision, the right time for that decision hasn’t passed yet. If you feel like things aren’t going your way, they can be. There is still time for a good outcome if you will take action.

The Right Time Is Right Now And Today Is That Day

You have the ability to change the course of your destiny and write the story of your life, just as you have always done. And just like in a movie there are many people who will come out of nowhere to help and support you to reach a fulfilling conclusion. I know that’s true because it happened to me.

I think it’s important to tell you my story. It’s not that I’m special, but that I followed the principles of success, even when I didn’t know about them. Maybe you will be able to relate to some part of my story and if you do, maybe it will make you think about how your own life can be better.

I’ve learned that there is no such thing as an ‘easy’ way to be prosperous and happy. However, through self-work and time spent on self-reflection, I have attained the feeling of prosperity.

The key to maintaining a feeling of prosperity is happiness. Happiness does not always come naturally, but it can be cultivated by being grateful, taking time each day to reflect on how lucky you are, and being compassionate with yourself and others. Maintaining a feeling of happiness requires mental and physical health, so I make sure to schedule ‘me’ time every day.

I’m Not Perfect

Sometimes I need to do something that makes me happy because I am feeling down in the dumps. When that happens I try to identify why I am depressed (or angry) in order to attempt to resolve it.

During the good times, people forget about cultivating the foundation for their future security. For a person to maintain their prosperity in today’s world, they need to allow themselves enough time and energy to maintain it on a continual basis. A sense of urgency is needed constantly — even when there are no immediate emergencies or upcoming events. By being aware that a person’s success is their responsibility, they will be more likely to maintain and sustain.

The quote I used at the beginning of this article, “Man proposes and god disposes”, has been the subject of some controversy. It’s been said that it was a line from “The phrase “Man proposes, but God disposes” is a translation of the Latin phrase “Homo proponit, sed Deus disponit” from Book I, chapter 19, of The Imitation of Christ, a 15th-century book by the German cleric Thomas à Kempis.”

The book The Imitation of Christ by Thomas à Kempis is a classic, but it was written in the 1400’s so I’m not sure that quote is really valid for modern times. Maybe this phrase was written about 500 years ago when people still believed anything that happened to them had been decided by god and wasn’t under their control.

Summarize

It’s important to note that I did not write this article as a subtle suggestion to take advantage of any situation. Disadvantages can occur in everyone’s life, whether they are experienced by their individual self or something that has happened to their family. To help you understand my point, I’m going to explain my story.

I had a great love for the theatre and wanted to pursue a career in it, but unfortunately, it was not an option when I was growing up because of financial circumstances and other opportunities being available.

I was in survival mode and the most important thing was to move forward in life, no matter what the cost.

I had a great deal of things happen to me in my life that have created a lot of challenges for me. I have inherited some problems that come with being born into poverty — but I overcame them. I have faced many difficult situations in my life and I have learned a great deal from it.

I would like to believe that every situation I’ve faced is an opportunity to learn and grow and make me a better person. I like to think of things happening to me as lessons in life. Everything I’ve gone through has prepared me for living today as a more responsible, confident, and fulfilled person.

With the help of affiliate businesses, I have been able to overcome my disadvantages in life.

In the past few years, I’ve been able to overcome some of the difficulties that I’ve faced by creating a plan that uses affiliate marketing to make money. None of my previous experiences would have been successful if I had not used them as a learning opportunity to grow and become successful, which has given me a better quality of lifestyle and the ability to help others.
