Your Problems Are Coming From Your Thoughts
You only need to change your approach to life.
We, humans, are generators of positive and negative thoughts. Sometimes we create trouble for ourselves just by overthinking something.
I am a mother of two. When I first time became a mother I didn’t know anything about baby care.
My mother also used to live so far away that she couldn’t come to help me out.
It was Covid-19 time and we were living like the birds live in the cage. Google was my only teacher.
I didn’t start doing tummy time due to a lack of awareness. Due to my poor knowledge and practice in baby care, my son started showing signs of developmental delay.
He started sitting, crawling, and walking so late. As a Mother I started thinking negatively.
A fear started developing in my mind that there was something wrong with my son. But I used to hide my fear from everybody regardless of near or dear.
Everything was going well. My son eventually achieved all the milestones. He was doing so well.
I also sought medical assistance after COVID-19. The doctor assured me that it was nothing but a usual delay due to the lack of muscle exercises.
I learned from this experience that there was nothing to worry about at that time. But I was just overthinking.
That overthinking spoiled so many precious moments of my life. I didn’t fully enjoy my son’s first two birthdays because of my fear.
I know it was so natural to think like that being a mother. I hope all the mothers here can understand what I went through.
I learned through my experience that problem directly comes from our thoughts. It doesn’t exist in reality.
We get ourselves into trouble by overthinking something due to the lack of awareness or help.
This approach directly affects our quality of life. It causes us to miss so many opportunities to live our lives fully.
Therefore I would highly suggest you all, please change your approach towards life. Life is too short. Enjoy every moment.
Try to keep yourself in the present. Avoid negative thoughts. Don’t hide your emotions. Call out for help whenever you need it.
And last but not least, always think positively regardless of how tough the situation is. Day always comes after night. So never lose hope.
And if your child is having any delay regarding development, please don’t panic. Kids take their time.
