Summary

The web content discusses the self-imposed limitations and societal expectations that hinder personal growth and suggests embracing positivity and self-worth to overcome these challenges.

Abstract

The article "Your Limits For Tomorrow" delves into the concept of self-doubt as a major limiting factor in our lives, emphasizing that the only true limits we face are those we impose on ourselves through our beliefs and the societal norms we accept. It argues that from a young age, we are conditioned to conform to societal rules and expectations, which often stifle our potential and creativity. The author encourages readers to reject the notion that life is inherently suffering and instead adopt a mindset focused on usefulness and contribution. Drawing inspiration from a quote by Pittacus Lore and a biblical reference from Matthew 13:12, the piece suggests that by letting go of negativity and doubt, individuals can break free from a cycle of pessimism and realize their inherent value and potential. The text advocates for a personal revolution in perspective, proposing that by embracing the light—both metaphorically from within and literally by basking in the sun or moon—people can rid themselves of debilitating doubts and rediscover their purpose and vitality.

Your Limits For Tomorrow

How We Constantly Make Our Lives Suck More?

The only limits for tomorrow are the doubts we have today.

This quote by Pittacus Lore resounds inside you the miasma of negativity held inside you.

A child believes strongly in its abilities until the society tells it not do so. To listen to those who have more experience. There is a correct way of doing things and anything remotely deviating from it is absolute blasphemy.

We have a ton of things/rules fed to us which stop us from doing anything useful with our lives.

At least the basic tenet of one’s life should be:

If you can’t be anything, at least be useful.

The pandemic of believing that life is suffering and suffering it more rather than bettering it is the status quo of the current generation.

We are inveritably inside a loop. We let bad pass through us and stick to us like chewing gum on the base of your shoe and then, that attracts more.

From Matthew 13:12,

For to those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance; but from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away.

If you hold pain in your heart and eyes, then, more will be given to you. If you think, you have nothing, you are NOTHING, that you shall be.

You have doubts inside you. Everybody has. But, those doubts are not coming from you. The world delivers its garbage of doubts to you and you accept it without confrontation because you are made to believe that you are generating it. A lotus blossoms in utter filth and you don’t see anybody telling no you need to be dirty and NOTHING.

Being NOTHING and USELESS is a state of mind.

Every breath you are taking is useful. You are useful.

Cast away all doubts with every breath that leaves you. Throw them away and they will find their new home again.

Nobody has not personally sat you down and given all these doubts to you. Just put these doubts up for adoption and they’ll be gone.

You are what you are and what you will be.

The game is completely in your hands, even when you feel it isn’t.

We are prisoners of our own minds.

Shifting such perspective is difficult.

One way is bring the light from inside or absorb it from outside.

Go stand in the sun or the moon, stare at it as long as you can and all your doubts will go away. Lose yourself in their to find yourself again and again, renewed and revitalized.
