Your Life is Littered with Seasonal Relationships
In revelry and remembrance of people and places that mattered
My life is littered with good people.
Few moments have gratified me more than walking in fellowship with peers, loved ones, and those with whom I have shared the deepest alignment of personal values.
Even when we didn’t always agree.
You have had these connections too, even if they have only been for a season at a time.
Perhaps it was a special, energetic connection with kids in your neighborhood or an engaging set of teachers and classmates.
There was that crew of favorite cousins at family gatherings, a handful of co-workers early in your career, or a memorable summer camp experience. Or, maybe sports delivered your first feeling of camaraderie and teamwork.
For many people their collegiate activities — clubs, fraternities, and sororities — as well as the unique relationships found in service at nonprofit, civic, and faith organizations.
Personally, many of these experiences stretch across many chapters and geographies of my life.
Most of these groups were temporary and ephemeral — evidence that God really does intend for us to enjoy this journey with other people; not alone.
One season at a time.
Honestly,
