To Begin

It’s easy to become lost and confused when we first start searching for answers beyond our mundane egos. In my work I found it useful to develop my intuitive or inner voice first as a way to begin to understand about invisible worlds and as one way to make contact the Higher Self.

The Intuitive Voice

Like anything worthwhile it took some work and practice to make a space for an intuitive voice to work within me. Intuition arises within various centers or chakras in our bodies: the gut-feeling from the gut or chi (2nd chakra); an empathic or heart feeling (heart chakra) and/or the 3rd eye or clairvoyant, clairaudient centers. These three may exist separately or together or a sense of your intuitive voice may be discovered outside these centers.

Places of Intuitive Voice Access

When I was young I had many gut-feelings. Sometimes gut-feelings arise out of physical movement in the world or the idea of movement. The 3rd eye — the Pineal Gland in the center of the head is associated with visions sometimes accompanied by a voice. Empathic acuity comes from feeling other peoples’ feelings and while this is the empath’s way, an emotional knowing may arise as the inner or intuitive voice from this place.

One Way of Finding Your Intuitive Voice

If you’ve already found your voice, congratulations. I would like to read about your way as one way to enhance community knowing either by writing a piece and / or sharing in the comments. There are as many ways to contact and develop the inner or intuitive voices as there are beings in the multiverses.

Here is one way — the way I was taught: I began by visualizing a place within myself — within my body. This came in a number of ways. In the Gurdjieff Work we were taught that within all humans there is an essence that exists separately from the world of ego. I was able to uncover this as a frequency of light that runs inside and outside my body. To locate your essence or core image a beam or a thread of energy that runs from the crown chakra to the root chakra near to the spine. Or look into the flame of a candle and see or realize that the flame is analogous to the light of the essence within. See photo below:

This was the first step. The second step was finding a point along the core. In the beginning it was in my gut as connected through my essence. As I worked to develop my inner / intuitive voice there was a faint connection to the clairaudient part of the third eye. It wasn’t an actual “voice” more of an impression of a voice.

The space itself: imagine seeing or building a small secret safe cabin in the woods that has one room with where you (or I felt) feel safe. Eventually my space became more etheric with enough “room” for the voice and me. Initially I would put out “an openness” to receive or ask for something and my gut would have an instantaneous answer. Later I would ask more specific questions and /or open-ended questions and make space for an answer, if any. Making space always involves time, waiting and patience for an answer to come. My inner voice doesn’t always provide an answer. The ways of learning, effective struggle, surrender/sacrifice and help are other possible ways to achieving answers without necessarily accessing intuition and may balance the need for the intuitive voice.

Some Warning Signs and Rewards

Sometimes we can confuse the intuitive voice with talking to ourselves or a part of our selves’ talking to another part. A clear indication that you may be talking to a different part of yourself is through simple / mundane “Yes” and “No” questions. “Yes” and “No” questions come from remnants of binary and associative rational thinking especially with regards to not having a lot of money and wanting to win lotto for example. The intuitive voice seems to have a flow that offers active, receptive and reconciling vibrations within the messages of the inner or intuitive voice and operates beyond the scope of money, ordinarily.

The intuitive voice is limited to present time or the immediate present. It could be said that because synchronistic events are sometimes recognized, it does not always mean they will be recognized. The intuitive or inner voice can be cross-referenced by common sense / rational mind and or by emotional knowing.

My intuitive/inner voice is so well integrated within my being it operates very quickly and seems to an integral part of me. For this I thank my Higher Self and Guides who are Ascended Masters or Very High Vibrational Beings.

The cultivation of inner voice or the intuitive voice can lead to the next step or contact with your Higher Self.
