Practical List Building Tips

Your Fortune & Future Are in the Follow Up With Your List Community

Most people don’t do this = lotsa room for you…

Created by Laura West for Author

If you have been involved in Internet Marketing for more than 20 minutes you have heard that “the money is in the list” right?

You know what the problem is though? Most people, once they have a list, go to one of 2 extremes. Either they never follow up or they follow up by pounding their list with offer after offer to buy something.

I don’t recommend either of those approaches.

Your fortune and your future

I’ve got a slightly different quote about list building that I teach to my students and members.

Here it is:

Your fortune and future are in the follow up

But exactly how do you do the follow up? I’m really glad you asked, because today I want to offer you two key strategies for following up with your list. Do these, and you will have a very responsive list when it comes time to offer them further resources.

Answer their questions

Every one on the internet, whether green beginner or seasoned veteran, has questions. When you take the time to answer the questions of your list community, you are demonstrating that you care enough to take the time and you are demonstrating that you are an expert that can answer their questions and be helpful.

You will also greatly increase the “know, like, trust, and desire” factor with the members of your list community.

Ask them questions

Very few online marketers do this, so just with this one action you can set yourself apart from most of the pack. Ask them what their biggest questions are, what are their biggest challenges, where are they stuck, what would they most like to know.

This is truly serving your list. Otherwise you are just another arrogant marketer who thinks they know what you want and are gonna shove it down your throat.

Side note: When you ask these questions and provide the resources they ask for, you have a really good chance to make a profit while helping your list community.
