You Wouldn’t Believe What I Saw?!

This is a confirmation of a sign of the times!

Okay, so I was on my computer yesterday afternoon and I had this little note come across my desk. That note is, that there are and possibly were people getting unemployment benefits/aid. Now, this surprises me because I thought the president shut the whole thing down.

People getting unemployment aid, you know what that means; the gateway has been reopened i.e. getting unemployment. Although many places of employment has made way for a lot of people to go back to work, it is still evident that some of us would rather work for ourselves.

I’ve been working for someone else since I was 18. Over the 23 years that I’ve been going to someone’s job, I’ve seen the same things:

Ugliness toward coworkers because they have to do their job

Slobbish ignorance

Lack of listening from the management

Being treated like a colt mule

Haste on someone’s line so they can have more time to dick around

My personal favorite is the “be jealous of the person who can do it all instead of giving him his props” situation.

I’m hardly surprised at this because people of my generation have grown tired of putting up with these things and then some, our parents always encouraged us to do good on someone’s job so we can rise to management and have a job we’re proud of lording over the “underlings”.

But the truth is, that’s old hat. No one wants to work for anyone’s company long enough to put up with the bullshit they have to rise to the top. People and those who were MEANT to be self-employed, have an out.

An opportunity that hasn’t existed for thousands of years, people have a way or ways to get money without working for it. People are pursuing their passions and making money from it. , I love to write and write about many things.

My goal, get to the 1000.00 a month mark on Medium while writing for publications and getting paid through them. I always knew my destiny was mine to control, working other peoples’ jobs was just a waste of time that I gave them to help them. I could’ve been doing something else.

Guess what, I will from now on which further states the fact that people are no longer interested in working to get unemployment benefits to help with money matters.

My takeaway from this, if people are getting unemployment benefits/aid, it goes without saying that those people would rather die than give up their way of life of being anything.

Maybe that’ll teach companies to start treating their employees like fine china instead of dog shit you’d find on the side of the road. To all of you companies, I only have this to say to you: You brought this on yourself!
