You Wanna Do Something Fun
When you’re bored, head to the gym for some fun
“You wanna do something fun?” Fredo asked himself. He was a guy that found himself bored easily and spent the majority of his downtime trying to figure out what he could or should be doing.
As his thoughts raced 1000 miles an hour, he tried to figure out ways to enjoy himself.
No matter how hard he tried, this question always came up with the same answer. So he grabbed his knapsack, picked up his keys and ran out the door.
His car was one that always caught people’s attention and that’s what he counted on. As he drove away from his house, he could feel his pulse racing.
He only had to drive 20 minutes to find what he was looking for, “fun.” He left his car 1 block away from his destination and walked over to the gym. As soon as he walked in the door, he saw what he was looking for.
Without stretching or any other type of warm up he went right to the 50lb dumbbells.
Due to his size, he always got strange looks when he began his bicep curls. He didn’t mind the attention; in fact it was one of the things that drew him to this place. He began his routine.
Four sets of 25 dumbell curls, four sets of 25 squats, four sets of 25 tricep curls and four sets of 25 leg presses.
This routine was done by Fredo without any break. He had sweat running from his head to his toe, and many of the other gym rats took notice.
Finally, one the egotistical maniacs came forward. “That’s not the way you’re supposed to do set’s.” the maniac said.
Fredo looked at him sternly and went back to his workout. He already knew by this action, he’d soon get the reaction he was seeking.
“Are you trying to hurt yourself, you must be new here?” the maniac said. Fredo smiled to himself and didn’t even look back.
Now the maniac grew agitated. “Why couldn’t people let others make their own mistakes and figure things out on their own” Fredo thought.
It was time for his next go round.
Four sets of 25 dumbell curls, four sets of 25 squats, four sets of 25 tricep curls and four sets of 25 presses.
After completing this round, he was drenched in sweat and panting like a dog in need of water. The maniac had had enough and moved quickly to stop Fredo from doing anything else.
The maniac turned Fredo around quickly. Fredo, grabbed him by the throat and threw him across the gym. He already knew where he would land.
A woman screamed as he landed on top of a barbell bar sticking out of its holder. The bar went right through the maniac’s chest.
Fredo stood there as if in shock as someone called the police. When the police came, twelve witnesses came forward and told them what happened. After speaking with Fredo at the police station, they let him go realizing it was self defense.
Fredo walked out of the police department smiling and whistling…..he always knew how to have fun.
