You Tell Me You Don’t Need Me
A poem about twin flames

You tell me you don’t need me, So you turn around and walk away, But you end up turning back around, And you return to find me. You tell me you are not ready, So you turn around and walk away, But you hold on to my heart, And you don’t let it go.
You tell me you need me now, So I push you away and say I don’t need you. But I need you the most when I say I don’t need you, And we lie and pretend we don’t care.
You run and I chase; I run and you chase, So you ask why we do this to each other? Until we face and overcome our fears, We will always run from each other.
