You Left the Week Before Valentine’s Day
That’s Why I Blotted The Day from My Calendar Since

You were not supposed to leave
The week before Valentine’s Day.
We have so many plans for next week;
So many things to do,
Places we have not been,
Many words not yet said,
Many hugs and kisses await.
Why did you have to go?
What can make you stay?
Birds have returned for the Spring,
Filling the sky with joy and hope
As nature awakes from Winter sleep.
We have so much to live for,
A lifetime to become one
With seasons of happiness
In fellowship with the heavens.
Tears flowed in rivers from my face
Enjoin the living water with the past;
And the heavens also cried
With roars of thunder and lightning
Raining passion from on high
The day you left
The week before Valentine’s Day.
Every Valentine’s Day
Holds still memories of yesteryears
Bringing joyful moments of happy days
Reminding our days of endless joy.
Will they ever come again?
Every Valentine’s Day,
Time stands still
To relive our yesterdays
For more moments with you;
To hold your hand once more,
And to hold you in my hands.
I want to touch you again,
To kiss you and see your smiles
And to give you all of my love;
I missed you so much,
We shared timeless moments in our life
Over many seasons of our time.
We will never be far apart
For every moment I think of you,
You are always in my heart.
Every Valentine’s Day lingers
For me to accept at last
That you are already gone.
Thoughts of you languish
So real I never know
That I am all alone now.
What shall I do?
Whom shall I call?
When shall we chat?
Every Valentine’s Day lasts
as the longest day in my life,
The day after will find you gone,
And the morrow will start without you;
May the next Valentine’s Day never cometh.
