You Know I Love The Gardens

Morgan sprawled over the love-seat across the room, exhaling loudly to underline the severity of their boredom. I looked up from my tablet, and noticing the beautiful weather outside, asked, “What if we took a walk?” A moment passed in silence.
“That would be nice,” they sighed.
“Alright,” I exclaimed, hopping sharply out of my seat, “let’s do it!” I could see their strain not to give away their excitement towards getting out of the house with company.
Those cheeks couldn’t help themselves.
“Which way do you want to take?” I asked, beaming.
There was hesitation, then they said, “You know I love the gardens.”
“Oh, it’s true— ”
