I read yesterday that you have to risk heartbreak to find love. And this made me smile inside and out.

If you’ve read some of my pieces, you’ll know that I’ve lived through heartbreak, real aching heart, broken pieces, tears that feel like they are choking you, heartbreak.

But hey!

I survived.

And, I have a lot of love to give, and I want to give it.

I know it’s a risk, but I’m prepared to take that risk because I know there’s someone out there who makes my heart feel so full. I’ll think wow, the broken pieces were just my heart being rearranged to receive the same amount of love I have to give.

I do not doubt this because:

I am in a position where I love myself. I enjoy my company and I am happy on my journey. My relationship with myself is healthy and I will no longer depend on someone to make me feel loved.
