So, You Want To Make Some Money?
You Game For A đ˛ Part-Time JobđŠâđ?
Itâs Easy. Why? Because Employers Are Hurting & Need People! (UPDATED: 2022-Aug-26)

I worked for six to eight months doing a âpermanent, part-timeâ job â no benefits mind you â for a very well known, sporting goods âbig chainâ store.
I could typically work whatever hours I wanted. But I had to commit to a minimum of 15 hours a week, with typically the maximum being 35 hours a week.
At $15 an hour, you do the math. Even with losing approximately 10 to 20% to deductions, I was still ahead of the game.
It was âoneâ gig I liked doing, too, given the department in the sporting goods store in which I worked. I qualified for vendor discounts for the departmentâs brand names as long as I could prove Iâd done the companyâs online courses for the equipment.
You could make some serious moolah â $$ â that goes into your bank account this way. Back in late 2018 going into the Christmas season, I was bringing in $900, after deductions, every two weeks, because I was working max hours each week, even if my shifts varied day to day. $1800 a month for me though was still more than enough on which to live.
The only drawback?
You get issued an employer, government tax receipt at the end of each year. So, the government knows your income. But, usually, with my low income level and additional tax credits, I usually got back everything in minimum tax I had deducted.
