You could unfold a day the way you like
Things that control you, you could shift gears and start thinking about you controlling them
What do you have in your control and what else you would let it control you?
There are many things in our life that we can control and we have control over them but there might still things that control us… how do we go about them?
Take a to-do list for example, it may feel like we have a never-ending list on our side. Often times, it feels like an unachievable goal. I do not know about you but for me, surely sometimes it feels like that. I have uncovered the reason for that too! Have you?
There are hundreds, thousands and even millions of ways this day and every day could unfold.
Do you feel like working till late, and still ending up with the feeling that you would never ever make it?
I would suggest trying something like the following
Start with one thing that is non-negotiable and get that done
And continue the same for all the to-dos in your list
One most important thing a day will get you there; That one thing could be spending time with your family, reading a book, exercising, writing etc, anything that is essential to you!
The one thing that feels you like you are going in the right direction, you are doing the right thing, you are achieving what you wanted to, etc. That makes you closer to your goals, which gives you a sense of accomplishment… is what matters and it should.
Make sure that you know the difference between intention and goals. Once you have identified that, then set up SMART goals and start pursuing them one by one at least.
