You Cannot Tell the Sun to Shine Brighter Nor Can You Tell the Rain to Storm Less

There is nothing in life that is controllable.

We can try to control our life’s journey, but we are not capable of doing so. We cannot influence how much the sun shines or how much the sky rains.

Despite man trying to manipulate his surroundings, nature may be slightly altered, but it will continue growing and flourishing. The sun will rise and set despite diseases, famine, and wars.

We can set out with expectations of how our history will unfold, but there is a natural cadence to the symphony of our life.

The more we embrace the sky when it’s raining or the sun warming the earth, the better our life will be. We cannot command the Universe to do as we wish, but we can set our intentions and be open to what it brings our way.

Control creates anxiety and disappointment. When you stop trying to direct how long the storm lasts, you will see the sun sooner than anticipated.
