You Can Let It Go To Voice Mail
The calls could be scammers
Cell phones have become the norm.
Many people have a cell phone as an extension of their arm. It is always within reach and is used nearly continuously. Cell phones have become an essential means of communication through voice, texts, emails, and other messages.
There are many homes where there is no longer a landline. People have become accustomed to using their cell phones. Most family members have them, and even young children may have them.
People have also become used to receiving many calls on their cell phones that they would rather not receive. Spammers, scammers, and solicitors call regularly.
Phone companies that provide cell phone service might also display warning signs on calls. For example, calls may say "spam risk" or "unknown caller."
Anyone with a cell phone may put the people they want to hear from in their contact list. Those names will be identified when a call comes in from them.
If you don't want to be bothered by unwanted calls, you can let them go to voice mail. You don't need to answer every call; you can ignore them. If it is essential, the person can leave a message so that you can answer it if you wish.
Today's telephones are incredible pieces of technology and electronic equipment. Most people could not get along without them, but they are often used by scammer criminals and others whose calls you may not want.
Not answering calls is your option. You can protect yourself from scammers by not answering calls that might be suspicious and unwanted. Letting calls go to voice mail is a good option. Someone can leave a message, which you may choose to answer.
