You Can Have Pizza Anytime!

Or, just write about it

In a month about love, there’s no way we could skip the good old pizza date idea here. The ninth is Pizza Day, so this one is all about pizza dates — the original Netflix and chill experience. Or, just fun experiences involving loved ones and pizza.

Want some questions to help out? Here’s a few:

  • Who was it that convinced you to try pineapple on pizza?
  • What’s your favorite pizza-related memory?
  • Have you ever ordered pizza for an at-home date and regretted it?
  • Or maybe it worked out better than you thought?
  • Where’s your favorite sit-down pizza place to take family and why?

Pizzas remind me of Friday nights with my family. Pre-teen and teenage days of scrambling around a huge table that barely fit in the kitchen for at least two slices of goodness. With four brothers and sisters all grabbing at the pie, there usually wasn’t a chance for seconds.

Of course, my mom and I would often split one between the two of us. Not out of fairness or favoritism, but because we were the only ones that enjoyed (or at least tolerated) supreme pizza. To this day, I still pick off the green peppers — but I’ve come to truly enjoy the flavor they give to the cheese. Green pepper cooked on cheese leaves a unique flavor only satisfied by a supreme pizza. Mmm….

Even better if you’re eating pizza while writing!
