You Can Benefit from Morning Routines, But Only if You Follow Them
Sounds obvious but trust me, you need to read this

Before I start writing this story let me mention that I’m not a morning person.
Sigh!
But, I’m also aware that a morning routine can bring incredible benefits as most people are aware.
Your morning ritual may give you more energy, focus, and the ability to accomplish more of what you want in life, better mental health, better sleep, better skin, and an even better sex life.
Don’t we all want that?
Not only this, but people that have a morning routine also seem to have more dollars in their bank account and a more loving relationship.
Really?
But most people will shrug at all this and think it has more to do with the type of person they are, instead of the amount of water they drink in the morning or at what specific time they are leaving their bed.
However, believe it or not, you will keep thinking this until you have a morning routine.
Because let me tell you, I, too, was skeptical until I pulled myself together and got a morning routine.
“I used to love night best but the older I get the more treasures and hope and joy I find in mornings.” — Terri Guillemets
- A morning routine will incorporate essential things for your body, like exercising, drinking water, and eating right.
- As well as for your mind, writing down things you are grateful for, reading, and journaling.
- And for your career, making to-do lists, planning your day, etc.
You might not have to add all of the ones I mentioned before, but you will add a few from each category.
You might be thinking about having enough time to do all that and then work or take care of your family the rest of the day.
Well, you will make the time.
You will only make the time for it once you have prioritized your health, mind, and body.
When you are young, have loads of energy, and are eager to work work, and work, you will be able to do it for a couple of years.
But after a while, if you don’t prioritize yourself, your body, your mental health, and your relationships, you will soon hit a wall called ‘burnout.’
You already know the benefits of having a consistent morning routine. Still, you might be listing them without realizing what they are bringing you, and that is — More Time.
By making the morning time to care for your mind and body, you will add hours to your life.
As with everything good that life has (career success, working marriages, and yes, even wine), it all takes time.
So give yourself a couple of days, if not weeks, of consistency until you see the benefits of a morning routine. I promise you, those first few mornings will not feel easy.
You will feel tired, grumpy, and even mentally foggy. Still, once your body gets used to it, you will feel like a super version of yourself and kick yourself in the butt for not starting sooner.
