You Can Begin Today To Know God’s Amazing Will for Your Life
Put God’s will to work in your life by remembering three words

To get to the big overarching will God desires for me, first, I should start at the beginning. Three words capture the starting line to walk in God’s will for my life.
Keeping my walk with God is simple, even brutal at times, but God’s grace is there to run my race with confidence.
Let’s look at it this way. I’m in a race requiring me to begin at the starting line. Even the Apostle Paul said He wanted to finish his race with joy (Acts 20:24).
How many remember Rosie Ruiz? Rosie was the women’s winner in the 84th Boston Marathon in 1980. The only problem. Rosie cheated by not running the complete course. She lost her title.
I don’t know about you, but I want to finish my race with joy, knowing I began like Paul at the starting line. I am staying in the race.
God writes three words to know His will for my life
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (I Thessalonians 5:16–18, NKJV)
1. Rejoicing
Be the person full of joy, delighting in your salvation. One person said, “If you have the joy of the Lord in your heart, show it on your face.” Be the most optimistic person in the room. We have a hope that will not let us go, ever. Rejoice, and again, I say Rejoice, Philippians 4:4. Practice living joyful, you’ll not regret living this way.
2. Praying
Pray without ceasing, the apostle tells us. This act of praying is like background music in our souls. It is like keeping the phone line open 24/7 to the God of heaven. Often I tell family and friends to stay in touch. Why would I not want to keep in touch with my Savior?
3. Giving thanks
Keeping an attitude of gratitude not only draws you close to God. But people will appreciate spending time with you. Thankfulness draws you near to the heart of God. Being grateful releases the next steps in fulfilling His will in your life. When we are thankful, the door of God’s divine will swings wide open.
Don’t cheat yourself out of the prize like Rosie in her race. Begin at the starting line. Rejoicing always, keeping your line open with God, and being thankful for His grace.
God is willing to give you even more than you can imagine or dream of in granting you the riches of His love.
