Do you have any suggestions about losing weight and staying in shape?

Seriously, that is all I can think about these days.

Without going into details, I have been experiencing a medical issue that is undoubtedly related to weight gain. And yes I’ve been in denial about my size and I confess to wearing extra large shirts so I can’t face the facts.

The reality is that I need to lose weight and I need to do it quickly. Beyond that, I need to keep it off or I’m going to have to keep taking this awful-tasting medication that could lead to undesirable side effects.

There is no way around it. I’ve got to lose a few pounds right away and then after that I can work on losing even more.

My Strategy

Okay, I’ve been through this situation before so I know what I have to do to shed pounds and get in better physical shape.

First, I need to really focus on what I eat every single day. I’m going to reduce my consumption of sweets and desserts and this is my highest priority. Granted, I don’t do much of this as it is, but I can definitely go lower.

Next, I’ve got to eliminate all bagels. It’s just too much for my body and I can’t do it any more. Okay, they are wonderful, so I’m going to maybe only have half a bagel maximum per day and go from there.

Third, and most important, I am going to force myself to exercise more every single day. Whatever it takes for me to get moving, that is what I am going to do.
