You Aren’t Losing Your Love Handles Because You Are Doing the Wrong Exercises
This is how I dried up excess fat on my side belly.

Love handles is a fancy name for the excess fat that sits on the sides of the waist and hangs over the top of the pants. Also known as a muffin top, this fat can be challenging to lose.
In addition to being extremely difficult to remove, they also tend to stick their smirky nose where they don’t belong and ruin the fit of your favorite pair of jeans, making your best-looking shirt extremely weird and many other annoying drawbacks.
Many people may incorporate exercises that target specific areas of the body, such as the hips and abdomen. These exercises will not remove fat directly from these areas, but they can improve an individual’s muscle tone and contribute toward weight loss.
My abdominal workouts are fun and effective, and they work my abs muscles so well to make my tummy tight, toned, and flat.
I get super creative with my ab exercise routines, and I wouldn’t be sharing them if they didn’t work.
It’s quick, fat-burning, and targets everything in the core muscle group using just three ab exercises.
Together these moves make up a quick and easy Ab workout routine. If you want a flat, toned core but don’t like push-ups you’re going to love it!
Each move uses a different multi-directional movement, and when you put them all together, they really engage the abdominal muscles.
Now, without further ado, let’s begin.
1. Bicycle crunches
This exercise helps you strengthen both your upper abs and your lower abs and obliques, as you are practically performing a full core movement if you do it in the right way. But this exercise requires a lot more attention to detail than the average sit-up.
One of the best ways to make ab workouts harder is to slow down the speed of the movement.
To perform proper bicycle crunches, lie down on the ground and place just your fingertips on your temples with your elbows open. Bring your knees up, with shins parallel to the floor, as you lift shoulder blades off the floor.
Get your legs into a 90-degree position and then alternate side to side by bringing your right elbow to your left knee and then doing the same with your left elbow and your right knee.
2. Running and jogs
When I started exercising to lose weight, running and cycling were the two cardio exercises I did the most. If you haven’t seen my workout routine that helped me lose 20 pounds in 30 days, you should.
Running increases your muscle mass and burns more calories than running at a steady pace, although it takes less time because you run faster at a higher intensity.
It’s a myth that low-impact strength training or cardio training requires less work.
If you do them correctly, you will still reach 40–50% of your maximum heart rate and sweat.
3. Medicine ball russian twist
The Russian Twist is a popular core exercise that improves oblique strength and definition.
The exercise, usually done with a medicine ball, involves twisting your torso back and forth while maintaining a sitting position with your feet on the floor.
While in a sitting position, hold a medicine ball or plate to make the exercise more difficult. The result is an invigorating exercise that burns and fatigues your abs and obliques.
Russian Twists shouldn’t be your favorite exercise. Think of them as bicep curls for your core. You can do them every now and then to target your muscles to improve aesthetics.
Closing words
To lose love handles, these calorie-burning exercises should be part of a larger overall weight-loss routine that includes a reduced-calorie diet.
By reducing calories from your diet and increasing your level of physical activity to include at least 150 minutes per week of exercise, you will create a calorie deficit in which your body burns more calories than it takes in.
For every 3,500 calories you burn this way, you’ll lose 1 pound of fat, including visceral fat and subcutaneous fat that accumulates in and around your abdomen.
Once this fat is burned, the muscles you have toned with these three exercises will show and help keep your belly firm.
