You Are Training For Greatness
Day 48: Daily life is a special training ground for our spirit

The past few days, I have walked along the ocean shore, in awe of the beauty of the world all around us. As the mist rose and the sun peeked out, I delighted in the sound of the waves crashing against the beach. Those strolls along the beach are on my mind as I go about my daily life once again. I am so grateful to live a short drive from the ocean to delight in its beauty regularly. It is beautiful to explore the book Miracles by Stuart Wilde among his other books on my 100 day journey of spiritual growth.
Strangely, I am excited to get back to daily life today. I dove in a little yesterday, picking zucchini, shredding it, freezing it, and making two loaves of zucchini bread. The apples are starting to fall off the trees, a sign of delicious apple treats to come. There are many things to do about the house after I finish my writing for today, and I look forward to those chores with anticipation. I feel that I gave my spirit a good rest, and now I am ready to jump back into the rhythm of day to day life with zeal. I believe that when you can delight in the ordinary, miracles will come to you.
We are not our bodies, or our emotions, or our minds, or any of the structures and restrictions we experience around us. We are an infinite part of the God Force using the physical form to experience spiritual development through a special training called daily life. -Stuart Wilde
Daily life is much more than the ordinary and the mundane. There are hidden treasures to be found. When we know ourselves to be part of the God Force, we are learning and growing in amazing ways every day. What we experience when we go through our routines and daily practices are small miracles, training us to grow our spirits.

You chose the circumstances of this life because it was the next step in your infinite evolution and because this life would allow you to expand what you are spiritually so that you could become an even greater expression of the infinite life force or living spirit. — Stuart Wilde
When I look back at everything I have been through in my life, I see that it has all been a tremendous gift. The conflicts I experienced, the challenges that I faced, the hardships that I dealt with, all of those were, and still are a part of my training.
Right now, I am allowing myself some time and space to reflect upon the experiences of my life and where I am today. I am learning to become stronger. I am discovering that it is okay to have my own voice and opinion. For so many years, I would morph myself into someone who agreed with everyone else’s viewpoints. This year, I finally realized I did not know who I was. What do I want? Who do I want to be?
Part of my spiritual growth is growing into my own thoughts, opinions, and desires. Each time I catch myself just agreeing with everyone else, or saying I don’t have an opinion, I look deep inside for what I really want. Then, I can find my true voice.
My prayer and my intention for you today is to find your voice. It is part of your spiritual training. Voicing what you truly desire is important. It is your path to discover. By learning something about yourself on a daily basis, you are growing your spirit.
What does your true voice say to you today?
