You Are The Joyful Branch
How to bloom where you are

“A flower must bloom inside first before revealing its beauty to the world.” ― Matshona Dhliwayo
I came upon a tiny, beautiful branch while walking outside today. It had the most glorious blooms on it. I felt my heart grow upon seeing this sight and becoming one with the tree for a moment.
In that instant, I wondered if my life could open like the petals on these cherry blossoms. Fluffy and delicate, they hold the promise of joy inside.

We can all be a branch, reaching out toward humanity. Stretching ourselves with creativity, sharing our colorful flowers to catch another’s smile creates love in the world.

Branches are not just rigid; they can be pliable and creative too.
We can learn from nature and bend a bit to meet others halfway. Maybe there is a way to connect and become stronger.
Every year our trees reach new heights. They branch out in more directions and bloom with all their might. Human beings can do the same if we focus on growth opportunities in life.

When we choose to reach toward the light instead of turn away in fear, we become a source of healing. Trusting life as it curves, bends, and twists around in unimaginable ways is how we can become whole.

The spaces in-between moments of joy can bring us solace as well. Like a tree with many branches, not all bloom at once. We can remind ourselves our time is not only now but also in the coming moments.

Every unfolding of our destiny is beautiful. Flowers reveal themselves one petal at a time. Long ago, I wanted to map out my future. Now, I am excited to live each day as it comes.
The universe has unbelievable magic in store for all of us. When we become a branch and learn to be flexible, all moments will bring peace.

My wish for you today is for you to bloom where you are. Accept life’s twists and turns as you become a branch of peace. In this way, you will find a spark of joy throughout your days.
Today I want to share my dear friend Lady Dr. Gabriella Korosi’s lovely collection of singing mantras and meditations. I find her work to be soothing, loving, and light-filled. Thank you, Gabriella, for sharing your light in this world.
