The awakening- What is it really?

Are you in a better spiritual/soul place because you are experiencing a different phenomenon than others?

You know peace on earth, goodwill toward men thing.

Does anyone know anything?

Aren’t we all on the planet just having individual experiences?

What makes what you say and feel more valid than what I say and feel?

Think about it. Isn’t everything just an opinion?

Religion, Politics, Spirituality, Time, Science, Medicine, Nutrition, Fitness.

My “knowing” is individual to me.

I may share my thoughts and dreams but have no desire to make them yours to have and to hold. Your journey is your own to behold.

So, hold it.

Those internal elements are surely yours alone to discover.

Discover yourself.

Being a follower has never impressed me.

I am a sapiosexual, impressed with critical individual thought manifested in life choices, truths, and laughter.

The more I learn — the less I know.

I have a Master’s in Education- big deal.

That means that I can write, follow directions and interpret what another wants me to be. It does not make me “better” than anyone in any way.

I still don’t choose to “follow” all of the “rules” because creative personalities need expression away from prison walls. That sole reason is probably why I teach in a high school, then run home to a treehouse. I can breathe in that space. There is a creative expression in my everyday and peace in my every night. It took a long time getting to that spirit/soul space for myself. Alone.

Who you are on a spirit/soul level is not connected to anyone- but yourself. It is deeply personal. I feel many get “lost” in others- Parents, mates, colleagues.

No need to just “follow”.

Take ideas, read, meditate, pray- whatever that is for you and discover yourself. Be patient. Be watchful. Be quiet. Be still. Listen. Synthesize.

Discover yourself amidst the chaos because no one really knows what the fuck they are doing. Everyone is just trying to get by, be happy, and move forward.

You are not a spiritual master- so drop the ego.

Wear whatever you want, sleep with whomever you choose, be who you are. No judgment. Live. Learn. Realize no one is “better than” or “worse” than “you”.

We are all just trying to carve out the best lives for ourselves

at this particular moment,

on this particular planet,

in this particular universe.

You are you.

Wear the Muslin anyway.
